We're mourning one of our best. Former Sac-Joaquin Section Commissioner Pete Saco passed away today after a long fight with cancer. He served as commissioner for our member schools from 1993-2014. He also served for your children.

@SacBee_JoeD Don’t forget track and field. That old clay track held world sprint records and was dubbed fastest track in the world. June 1968 Jim Hines and three others broke the world record in the 100 meters. It may have held the 200 meter record too.
