And of course a small army of local artists who brought our spectacular programme to life.

Belfast’s artists are world class and our city is brimming with creative talent. We must never forget how they help us connect with our sense of identity and place.

Today @PlacetoWonder1 brought an intrepid group of scientific adventurers on a time travelling mission to return to #BelfastMela 2019! Brilliantly bonkers Dr Cornellius Oddleman had a plan to revisit the 2019 Mela drumming circle using his Spectacular Spectacles... 🤩👓🥸🌟

But the Spectacular Spectacles brought some unexpected side effects... We opened up a wormhole! 🪱 And found rainbow diamonds! 🌈 A singing mermaid helped us realise we can make all of our wishes come true - but only if we believe! Will we make it to #BelfastMela 2019 after all?

Dr Oddleman's radiation detector goes off so we shelter under the tree... where we meet a fairy! 🧚‍♀️ She reminds us that things can be invisible. The air we breathe is invisible! Just because we can't see the 2019 #BelfastMela doesn't mean we can't go there...
