@cgasper https://t.co/iBDulSzyUg I agree Burkhead had some injuries, but there should be no question on the fascination, guy is a phenomenal athlete, when healthy he is a 4 down monsta and dog in crunch time. 4.6 ypc and 10 yrd per rec last year

Summary of Rex Burkhead's career day

[Billie Battoni @PlainOGridiron]

@985TheSportsHub @bigjimmurray @cgasper On Burkhead, u hear it from the players, Bengals & NE, he is phenomenal athlete, could be playing baseball or basketball for money. Playmaker can take over games. Dog. 40+ vert, make u miss in phone booth guy. Injuries, but when healthy Pats know what they got, top shelf RB rec

Rex Burkhead’s Team Jack Trifecta, benefitting pediatric brain cancer research, is a virtual event this year July 11-18...virtual 5K, football camp & free throw contest...details here...

[Billie Battoni @PlainOGridiron]

@PaulSculpher @PatriotsPOV Actually Burkhead had a better YPC 4.6 & YAC last year, which was at 2.3 and Sony was at 1.6. Burkhead also averaged 10 yards per reception so I agree with you. Burkhead only had 7 less broken tackles. Burkhead broken tackles per attempt is considerably higher 10 to 15

@Scote1985 @guntruc518 @EstHuskers @HuskGuys Agree to disagree, regardless he showed up and fought some wars at Nebraska for Nebraska

[Billie Battoni @PlainOGridiron]

@Scote1985 @guntruc518 @EstHuskers @HuskGuys Well he sure one of the best RB athletes at Nebraska, the combine and his pro day proved that, I don't think him being white should have any bearing, we are talking about a player that had a 40 plus vertical and has elite quickness and one of the top receiving RBs in the league

[Billie Battoni @PlainOGridiron]

@guntruc518 @EstHuskers @HuskGuys Good ranking, I like Burkhead in the top 5, think his yards came in crunch time not in junk time. He decided games, not padded stats. Complete back and athlete. Would have been #2 all-time if he hadn't got hurt for part of his senior year

@RealSkipBayless @undisputed I like LeBron, but when you compare film of Jordan and LeBron in their prime, Jordan just stands out athletically and has the "it" factor during pressure settings. Jordan was a ruthless finisher in traffic

[Billie Battoni @PlainOGridiron]

@tkyles39 Meanwhile while peeps speculate, Rex Burkhead just working out like a madman and asking daily, "When does practice start", but the 49ers would be a great fit

[Billie Battoni @PlainOGridiron]

@jemelehill Still praying for you daily Jemele that you don't turn into what you hate.
