@frenofpede@_rawrell I think it’s more of a personal thing, it’s not like these tournaments are being done at national levels. Not everyone plays to represent their countries, especially those of marginalized groups.
@scratch_wifi@_rawrell Obviously depends on who you ask, but I’d say it’s a pretty good fighting game to get into. Strive was the first fighting game that i actually devoted time to learning. The mechanics aren’t overly complex but there’s a lot of variety in resource management for system mechanics.
@CazaTesoroElFin @_rawrell you do realize that a character being popular doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re top-tier, right? I mean Bridget’s mix-ups are good but her damage output is terrible. The best characters in Strive tend to have high damage output with minimal combo damage fall off.
@mxlovegopdng No place is perfect, especially for trans people, but I like it here. Even in a red state, there are people who are like me and people who accept me.
If you ever come over here, I’d advise going to an urbanized area as those are much more progressive than rural areas(usually).
