Sitting on the front steps of Red Wyndham, leaned back against the nearby column.
A taxi was driving by with one of those LED signs on top showing an advertisement for #FMF. Her eyes caught the sign, but annoyance was all that followed.
“What’s the point.”
@IlluisoryBlade She didn’t respond after that, but a part of her was relieved to hear that. As much as she hated people, having others get hurt because of her was not what she wanted.
Turning the corner at the end of the hall, her brow twitched at the comrade comment. That’s all the talking—
@IlluisoryBlade Of course, that captured her attention, much to her dismay. Sierra kept walking, but decided to acknowledge the girl this time.
“Were you injured?” The older woman asked quietly.
@IlluisoryBlade She sighed heavily. Looks like this one was the talking type.
Unfortunately, Sierra would turn away without a word to walk back from where she came from in hopes of getting away from the other.
@IlluisoryBlade Lucky? That wasn’t lucky at all. She literally just fell and hit her face. What a strange girl.
The ravenette merely stared at Sarah with disinterest in the conversation, quietly hoping she would just leave.
Looking around at all of the Red Wyndham members, Sierra would becoming increasingly suspicious of the guild.
With her ability to sense auras, she could tell there was an overwhelming amount of... interesting people within.
@TheGhostMage She side-eyed the ghost mage with a tick mark appearing on her head while she watched him move through the wall.
He definitely did that on purpose. What an asshole.
Once he disappeared completely, Sierra exhaled an exhausted groan and began exploring the halls of Red Wyndham.
“Ugh!” She growled with frustration. She couldn’t hurt herself with her own magic, so the next best thing was…
Taking her head between her hands, Sierra closed her eyes, bracing herself, and—
SNAP
@TheGhostMage “Oh nooo. Your sympathy. What ever will I do without it.” She murmured in a monotonous tone of voice.
“No. Just show me the way out. Why does this place have so many hallways?”
@TheGhostMage “Oh, look, he has a sharp tongue after all.”
She rolled her eyes and walked off towards the exit. But instead of the door, she walked….
right into the wall.
“……..”
PUNCH PUNCH PUNCH.
She slammed her fist into the wall repeatedly before turning to use the door —
@TheGhostMage “Still.” She waved a hand dismissively with a short huff and then turned her back to him while shrugging.
“You should have known love at first sight doesn’t exist. A mage of your calibur fell for that trick far too easily.”
@TheGhostMage “I see. I’m estranged from most of my family, except my cousin. He was hardly ever around, so family isn’t an option at the moment.”
She paused for a moment as silence filled the air, then side-eyed Sidney with a dull glower.
“You fell for a voice? How could you be so daft?”
