i was once a “dream fell first, george fell harder” truther but i was WRONG. and in this tweet i will explain why.

first of all, have you not seen 2020 george's videos?? george might not express his emotions through words much because he's bad at it, but he shows it in so many different ways. that’s why it’s so commonly seen as dream falling first and george falling harder. but NO. you know why??

pre-face reveal, every time george talks about looks not being important and how personality is more important, it really shows that he fell first for dream. like he loves dream so much even without knowing his face.

it's true that dream always wears his heart on his sleeves and he will audibly express his love towards people. but george was so head over heels for him, whether it be platonic or not, george would do anything for him and it shows in all the small things. hell, he even trusted dream so much that he's willing to follow his path in making youtube after he just graduated university. he's willing to do that for dream, a boy that he's never met before and whose face he's never seen before. he's willing to code videos with him, for him, and just stay on call with dream for as long as he asks for. dream even said that george used to give him attention 24/7 most of the time. george's attention to detail on all things ‘dream’ shows just how much he really cares about dream. whether it's the "dream" word, the smile emoji/smiley face, the color green, he will always immediately relate it to dream. he knows those "dream things" so well, better than any other people. he also always willing to just sit there and listen to dream talking about things he liked even when he clearly said that he doesn't care. he doesn't care but he's like "tell me anyway." TELL ME ANYWAY. that's love there. it just shows that he cares about dream and he loves dream that much that he wants to hear everything about dream or the things he loves.

he even moved across the world to be with all his friends, they all mean so much to him. but one of the reasons why he moved to US is because he's been wanting to live with dream, he's stated it so many times that he even asked dream to just marry him, no matter if it's just a joke or not. and he's so sure that he's gonna live with dream forever. FOREVER. you won't be saying things like that about someone that you never met before or whose face you never seen before but george was so sure that dream is his home forever. he loves dream that much that he's so sure that he's gonna live with dream forever.

personally, i think dream was so career oriented at first when he met george and he was so focused on their career that he didn’t really notice george in that way until later and then something clicked inside him and he fell hard as fuck. like he fell so hard for george it's almost comical, it's almost like dream accidentally fell off the grand canyon and made a cartoon splat because of how hard he fell for george.

dream and george have a special bond that can be seen even through a camera lens. they light each other up and george just shines when dream is around. you can see the moment george's face lights up whenever dream is around or whenever dream is mentioned. he just gets so excited and his smile grows bigger and fonder when it's things related to dream. and dream just gets fonder every time george does something stupid or something that is just so george because he fell harder for george ever since he noticed that there's possibility being with george romantically (like how they've discussed about the possibilities or the unless or the whether talk).

and this is why i concluded that george fell first, dream fell harder. thank you for reading my essay.
