I will never be on here crying like “I loved the game so passionately, that’s why I publicly complained so much, I kept it real!”
No, I kept it real. And I’m glad I did.
Destiny… my all time favorite game. ❤️☕️
Tim, I wish you well man, and I haven’t chimed in lately because I guess I’m just… well I’m very burned out on some of this stuff. That’s nothing personal of course, it’s not what you discuss or anything, it’s more the things that we all collectively talk about lately that have added up to me kinda losing my energy to share my own thoughts somehow (this is my first attempt to do that in a while). ☕️
I will always hope good things for Xbox, and that’s where I will primarily be doing most of my gaming into the future, but I don’t myself have clear preferences on what they should even do anymore. I don’t know if that’s a me-problem or an Xbox problem, but maybe it is a problem…
What they do feels very disconnected from what voices call for here, despite the “hear you” stuff. I can hope for cool stuff and that’s kinda it for now. It would be cool if lots of other people loved Xbox and it had a more comfortable standing in our discourse? But yeah it’s nearly impossible with folks always bent on slandering each platform no matter what.
Feel like I just can’t chip in properly anymore. I’m 47 now and I think I’m just too caught up in my own gaming (and I’ve got two teenagers to deal with right now lol!) - and I feel weird putting the message out that I’m simply happy gaming on the platform while so many others aren’t, and are long term alienated by a long list of stuff. It is possible to be an aloof shill who means well? Maybe that’s my truth for now. 😂
I just stay head down gaming my games man. I buy lots of stuff and I’ll continue to, but I’m just one dude.
Alright back to Diablo IV for me lol. The Lord of Hatred expansion has me so in love with this again.
Hope you have a good summer man!! 💚🎮
Sarah Michelle Gellar pays tribute to her "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" co-star Anthony Head following his death:
"'Tell Giles I figured it out and I’m ok’ Well I don’t have it figured out and I’m not ok. But I know I’m the lucky one because I knew you. Thank you to Daisy and Emily who not only shared their dad with me, but with the world."

@1GamewithDave1 My humble answer is Lilith, who brought it in a way harder than I ever thought possible this year, in Diablo IV’s deeply impressive Lord of Hatred campaign.
There are some unforgettable scenes in this campaign that gamers would be utterly foolish to miss!
Blizzard at its best.
I was very grumpy in a few posts I deleted, but just a lot of stress this summer so far, so to who’s with me on here, sorry if you saw those!
We’re doing a big project on our house, and it’s been a lot. It’s no excuse to write lame stuff in public places.
Will get it sorted-☕️
To our Lighkeeper community,
Over the years, you've helped turn compassion into action and shown what's possible when our community comes together for those in need.
Today, we wanted to take a moment to assure you of the future of the Bungie Foundation and properly thank you for the incredible support Guardians have given the Foundation since Destiny’s launch.
To start, we want to reaffirm that the Bungie Foundation will continue its work.
Our team remains committed to our mission to providing joy and relief to kids + communities who need it most. From Bungie's very first fundraising campaign in response to Hurricane Katrina during the days of Halo, through all of the incredible years in Destiny and now what comes next, our success and ability to change the world has been because of the compassion and generosity of YOU, our community.
Since our very first activation in D1 with the Pride of Nepal emblem 11 years ago, you helped us raise over $32 million dollars to support our Little Lights program, ID&E initiatives, and humanitarian causes.
Every one of you has made an impact through your support of the Foundation and that will never change. Destiny may have been the primary game we fundraised through, but you are the heart and soul of the Bungie Foundation. Above all, it was your passion for doing good that made it possible, and we can’t wait to see how you show up for our future campaigns.
We are eternally grateful for your awe-inspiring generosity, kindness and willingness to join us in trying to make the world a better place. THANK YOU.
We will continue showing up for the causes that need us, and though the way we fundraise may look different, we are just as determined to make a dent in this universe as we ever have been. As always, this will be a community-led effort, and we will continue to collaborate with Lightkeepers across the world to help us shape what this next chapter looks like.
We’ll have more details to share soon on what’s ahead. Until then, we’ll see you starside.
Love,
The Bungie Foundation Team
TIRED OF CONTENT CREATORS CRYING ABOUT GAMES EVEN WHEN THEY DONT PLAY ANY??
Then hi, I’m Stone and I actually play video games on my channels! I’m on YouTube and Twitch. The links are in my bio and below!
We play games and vibe out.
Have an amazing day!
LOVE YOU BYE!
@ADarkKnightt I used to make a joke during the mandatory controller wire days, back when there were still Pepperidge Farms commercials with the original guy and better cookie ingredients… that the load screens directly correlate to how much video games freaking hate us-
😆😭
