@trowynt@BBCWorld Confident I speak for many in saying how enjoyable your 5 consecutive evenings of anchoring were. It's rare for @BBCWorld not to schedule a pinch-hitter on Fridays--they were considerate to give us a full @Trowynt week. Y'all come back now, y'hear?
Gorgeous, unseasonably warm NYC afternoon. Inspired to walk to E. 71st Street where @AudreyHepburn filmed BREAKFAST AT @TIFFANYandCO in the warm 1st week of Oct. 1960 (so @SamWasson says in FIFTH AVENUE, 5 A.M.). Also past @MarilynMonroe's E. 61st St. location in THE 7 YEAR ITCH.
This Thursday: learn how Frank J. Cannon revealed himself through materials preserved in archives throughout the United States. https://t.co/xWWsgxgbuo
Join us this Thursday for our first of three #UtahArchivesMonth events! Joining us live from 12pm - 1pm is @PlanetVal, who recently won the Utah Historical Society's annual Juanita Brooks Best Book Award for his biography, "Frank J. Cannon: Saint, Senator, Scoundrel".
Shades of @SissinghurstNT! Pleased to see your Americanization hasn't prevented your penchant for peonies, pansies, & pinks from proliferating! https://t.co/pMtmIYjVcI
Always a pleasure to contemplate @ItsColePorter, but how I wish there were photos showing him as he really was: with Nelson Barclift, Bob Raison, or John Cronin. https://t.co/RPUMA9Scqa
@PepperGlass I'm old enough to remember Utah's 1977 drought. The Mormon leaders asked their members to fast and pray. Rain did come--after Utah's CATHOLICS held their own fast.
One of the most joyful afternoons of my life: grooving to the Eyal Vilner Big Band at Washington Square last Sunday. Someone's phone caught the action (including me at 3-4 seconds in!).

In the We're-Not-In-Kansas-Anymore Dept: Manhattan's @FolkArtMuseum--lavishingly exhibiting roomfuls of self-taught pornographers' scrawlings--demurely abuts the @MormonTemple. Utah zoning regs would annul that marriage so fast, your head would spin!
