The Iris Nebula is a bright reflection nebula in the constellation Cepheus. The nebula is illuminated by a magnitude +7.4 star designated SAO 19158. It lies 1,300 light-years away and is six light-years across.
The Hubble telescope was launched 30 years ago! It has provided NASA scientists with images never before seen!

M27 is a planetary nebula in the constellation Vulpecula, at a distance of about 1227 light-years. It consists of a glowing shell of ionized gas ejected from a red giant star late in its life.
