Across 29 countries, there were 185,000 properties listed on AirBnB.
79% had more short term rentals to every 1,000 residents than New York City (which sees almost double the amount of tourists annually as the Caribbean)
Palm Springs limits how much of a neighborhood can be short term rentals. Atlanta limits how many properties one person can have as a short term rental. Nantucket voted to only allow residents to have permits so the money made stays local.
