@ShotOn35mm I have a couple of firearms, a rifle for hunting and a pistol kept in the house for self defense if I should ever need it. I never talk or brag about them. But she apparently is a fanatic. A tried and true gun fanatic.
Thrilled that my #Dombeya is in bloom right now. The vibrant pink flowers are emitting an intense and sweet fragrance which is wafting throughout the garden and into the neighborhood. I wish #Twitter had a smell feature.
Nothing less than spectacular, this is a gorgeous Adenium obesum plant (Desert Rose) growing and blooming happily in San Diego. It loves a lot of sun and warmth but doesn’t need much watering. Sounds like a good deal to me!
Sharing a little more on my Brazilian Red Cloak (Megaskepasma erythrochlamys). This year has been stunning for the vivid brilliance in color this wonderful plant is capable of. And I've made a little video about it too. https://t.co/cFS3lZWjeq
I just love this plant and its striking flowers. It's Odontonema callistachyum "Purple Firespike", which has been doing amazingly well in Southern California gardens this year. Not only attractive to my eyes -- but the likes of hummingbirds and butterflies.
No.17 Elaeis guineensis, the African Oil Palm. Hate it for the destruction of rainforests for its plantations, but you can’t deny it is a handsome palm. #99Palms 📷Kyle Wicomb
No.35 is Rhopalostylis baueri. It is said to be faster-growing than the related Nikau palm of New Zealand, but otherwise similar. #99Palms 📷Kyle Wicomb @kwic13
No.43 is Chambeyronia macrocarpa. A must-have palm for every garden, the new leaves emerge emerge bright red, then darken and turn green. #99Palms 📷Kyle Wicomb
