@biscoffbabe Update* They messaged me to complain today that, on the first proper clean this house had had in a year, and my first visit, that I didn't manage to clean all three floors, three bathrooms, four bedrooms, two living rooms plus extra rooms and kitchen, 100% completely, in 4 hours.

@biscoffbabe I cleaned a house just like this today and it was soul destroying. Everything was built to show and not to last. Even brass bathroom stuff which gets stained straight away. And everything grey and black so all the dust shows so much, as well as taking away any character of course

Next morning he finds her dead and chops up her body to send to local leaders🤮

All this person wants is for the country which is their home to do better by everyone. Almost 200,000 people died last year form gun violence in the US

@r0b0tspider @lesdoanj @stephenfry OK, here are the numbers: 19,379 deaths by gun violence in the US last year (and that's with lockdown driving numbers lower than usual, and not taking into account accidental deaths of which there are many). In the UK, for instance, it's close to 0. It's just common sense.

It's a really old document written by rich white dudes. How long are people going to hold it as this amazing and relevant thing for?

@k_bar7 @lesdoanj @stephenfry Because there were 19,379 gun violence deaths in the US last year. That's not including accidental deaths which are also common. The cases in the UK for instance are so low I can't even find the stats for last year...other years show around 50.Can you not see that's what's scary?

And if people are not cautious they end up in hospitals which are, as you say, overstretched, which affects others who desperately need treatment. The side of caution is best.

Otherwise you hold against me that I love animals and that I have some concern bout a global pandemic...I don't claim to know about 0 covid, I was just saying that bringing up other deaths is irrelevant when talking about it specifically.
