It has been almost 14 weeks since Mindy was rescued with her kitten. She has been on Petfinder, and every social media site I have been able to post her on. I have posted her nonstop. NOT ONE INQUIRY for the most affectionate, loving Mindy. Well, on October 11 she has an opportunity for a forever home! However; not in GA as I said there is no one here for any of my babies. Mindy needs to fly to Boston. I have a transporter to take her, and now I need to raise $1000 to get her to her forever home. If you can please share for beautiful Mindy to finally get out of a crate and go to her happy after 🙏 https://t.co/kSvbDH8CwU

It will be 16 weeks on Sunday since I rescued Zena, Benji, Chester and sister Penny. Absolutely ZERO inquiries despite posting nonstop on several sites. They have spent their lives in a crate. It is soul crushing. No homes in GA. Looking for Out of State homes for these loving beautiful babies. They are low maintenance and above all just ask to be loved. Please share everywhere far and wide for homes. At the very least as they are now all even more bonded only available as a bonded pair💔💔 https://t.co/kSvbDH8CwU
15 kittens rescued.😸
Only TWO adopted😮💨
We honestly never imagined we'd be writing those words. When Priya discovered the Forgotten Field back in May and began pulling tiny, frightened, starving kittens from the weeds, thorn bushes and trash, we thought the hardest part would be saving them and getting them vetted.
Surely, once they were safe, healthy, socialized, fully vetted and ready for adoption, loving families would come!
But. they. have. not.💔
Fifteen kittens came into @gandolf_s rescue through this project.
Only TWO have found their forever home!
And these babies have waited. And waited. We've never had a shortage of adopters for cute kittens!
They're now about four - five months old and beyond ready to begin the lives we rescued them to have. They are loved here. Deeply.
But a rescue is not a forever home.
They deserve their own people. Someone who thinks the sun rises and sets on them. They deserve the individual love and attention that only a family of their own can give them.
And now there is another urgency.
The Forgotten Field did not get cleared out because we ran out of room.
Four more kittens have just been discovered in the Forgotten Field.
They're out there now. And we have no room. They appear about 6 wks old.
We cannot leave vulnerable babies to grow up in a field beside traffic, hiding in thorn bushes, searching for food and shelter and trying to survive rain, cold, predators, illness and all the dangers that come with being tiny and alone outdoors. We know what happens there. Coyotes and high traffic roads.
But before we can make room for the next ones, some of these babies need to GO HOME!
So I have tried my very best to make them an adoption video worthy of them. I'm certainly no professional graphic designer. I'm just someone who desperately wants these babies to have forever homes and for people to stop scrolling long enough to
👁️SEE THEM👁️😽😽😽😽😽😽😽😽
So... 🚘 WELCOME TO THE GANDOLF'S 2026 FORGOTTEN FIELD MODEL SHOWROOM!
We've got every make and model of sweet cat love. All fully serviced and ready to roll into their forever homes!
And please don't assume you need to live in Atlanta. Gandolf's does not limit adoption to local families. Atlanta, like so many cities, is overwhelmed with homeless cats!
Shelters are packed. Rescues are full. Kitten season pours still more babies into a system already bursting at the seams.
So why limit these kittens' chances to one city? We don't.
For the right home,WE TRANSPORT.🚗❤️
Our Gandolf's babies have found families in Ohio, New Hampshire, the Carolinas, Florida, Missouri, Texas and more. We believe in finding the right home, wherever that home happens to be.
We especially love seeing kittens adopted with a buddy, and some of these babies are very bonded. Single kitten adoptions may also be considered depending upon the kitten and the home.
One last thing about this video.
Turn your sound UP. I deliberately didn't add music. That soundtrack you're hearing?
It's them. 🥹Those are their little purr motors. They love their pets. They love people. They love to be loved.
Some will drive straight off the lot like they own the road, while others appreciate a low speed break in period while they learn their new home and people. As a reminder...all new babies should be given time to decompress and get acquainted. But they're ready.
They have waited long enough.
Please consider opening your heart and home to one of our Forgotten Field babies, or perhaps two. ❤️
And if adoption isn't possible…
PLEASE SHARE THIS VIDEO.
Share it until somehow, somewhere, it reaches the person who looks at one of these little faces and says: "That one. That's my baby."
Because four more little lives are waiting in that field. And these beautiful babies are waiting for their families.
**BONUS**😻
A generous donor has promised a $150 Chewy gift card to go home with every baby adopted!!
Please, someone love these beautiful souls who were saved from that awful field of thorns and trash with a promise of love and a family beyond their wildest dreams!🙏❣️

Please help by a free retweet. The vet bills for September 9/September 11 were $1216.25. Due to horrific -doesn’t describe significant issues in the home, I am having to relocate groups of kitties, rearranging the entire home and in need of more cat trees… if anyone is able to donate a few $ or send a Chewy ecard to [email protected] I would be deeply grateful 🙏 and if not a free retweet would be greatly appreciated.

🆘🆘 MIA (ID 254011), 4 YO, MALE – IN QUEENS ACC - came into the shelter as an owner surrender on 5/29/2026, with the surrender reason stated as animal behavior - aggressive towards people. 🆘🆘 😿 😿 😿 😿
➡️TBD 10/1/26
➡️ TOO LOW ON PLEDGES TO STIMULATE RESCUE INTEREST
➡️🆘🆘 9TH Chance on Emergency Placement List – ALMOST UNPRECEDENTED – AND SHELTER AT MAXIUMUM CAPACITY - NOW IS THE TIME TO ACT/HELP MIA - HIGHEST EU/SILENT KILL RISK- VERY LIKELY LAST CALL FOR MIA
➡️ 124 DAYS IN SHELTER – TOO LONG – TIME IS RUNNING OUT
➡️ MIA IS ON THE EPL FOR BEHAVIORAL REASONS - she is not thriving in the care center and continues to display challenging behavior during interactions. She is extremely intelligent and high energy, and needs to expend energy constructively with interactive play sessions 3-4X/day. In addition to playtime, this cat would also benefit from mental exercise from activities such as puzzle toys/games, lick mats, or clicker training. Without providing activity for her mind and body, the cat may react with rough play, potentially resulting in bite/scratch incidents. This designation often means that the cat will be given very little time for rescue/foster/adoption.🔥🔥🔥🔥
What my friends at ACC say about me: Mia interacts with the observer and appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting, but she has a tendency to play rough, and has a very high energy level. We recommend that she go to a home with adopters with a moderate level of cat experience preferred and be well counseled in her history of sporadic incidents of pouncing on and stalking legs, ankles, and feet. Her behavior remains suitable for an adopter with an average amount of experience, provided the adopter is aware of these behaviors and is able to comfortably manage them- committing to a consistent feeding and play schedule and behavior modification plan to mange her energy levels and play needs. Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy! I am looking for a home with a patient person. I would do best in a home with only adult humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them. Playtime is essential! I love climbing tall cat trees and having fun with interactive toys! I am not one to sit still! I will flourish in a home with someone that will keep me mentally and physically active! I love to play and will need appropriate toys and positive outlets for my energy. A volunteer writes: This is Mia's world and we're living in it. Unfortunately for all of us, however, Mia's world has gotten smaller and she isn't always sure how to adapt to this one as she needs. An active kitty who takes joy in managing the moving parts, shelter life seems to have left her feeling a bit confused. Mia loves to play and likes to have many opportunities to do so. She loves pets and cuddles until she doesn't and she has the kind of kitty communication that takes a little extra patience and time to understand and appreciate. She's looking for someone who will welcome and love her for all that she is and is hoping that'll be you. ❤️ 😻❤️ 😻❤️ 😻
NEEDS OUT OF SHELTER ASAP –
Please RT or pledge, if you can, to save this little one.
