The @WelshLabour Govt has announced that #ClwydSouth@wrexham and rest of #Wales will go into Tier 4 of its new system. I support a more localised approach as the @fmwales one size fits all policy isn’t working with much higher #COVID19 rates in the south compared to North Wales.
🏰 It’s castle fever in #Abergele but if you don’t live in the area here are a few photos.
Glow in the dark ghost ladies, large castle themed drawings in shop windows & #ImACeleb themed insects made from recycled materials are taking over the town! 🏴

🏴@fmwales “use the next three weeks to prepare...self-contained accommodation will be able to reopen in Wales so people will be able to travel to holiday cottages or static caravans or hotels that are organised on a self-contained basis” 🙏🙏🙏 https://t.co/aUtBuTP71T
Media alight with news of reopening of tourism in 🏴Wales from 6 July with self-contained accommodation (inc holiday caravans) from 13 July. 🤞🙏🤞 🙏@fmwales All eyes on today’s 🏴@WelshGovernment briefing
Like you, I am hoping that our vital Tourism industry is going to hear some good news after the Welsh Government’s next review of restrictions on 18 June.
You can be assured of my continuing support.
Huge concerns for the mental health and well being of tourism operators in Wales with the lack of any hope or indications of a likely opening date for tourism it’s very concerning @fmwales @KenSkatesMS @UKGovWales
If you own a caravan on or near to Tree Tops, please understand that parks want you back, local businesses want you back, the local council wants you back. Sadly @fmwales can’t see how caravan parks can easily be made #covidsafe.
NI confirmed open date 26/6, indicative dates 🏴4/7 & 🏴15/7
But park owners across 🏴Wales in utter despair as they’ve been given no hope whatsoever by @WelshGovernment

.@FlintshireCC leaders write to @fmwales calling for lockdown measures to be lifted: “We urgently need to restart the retail and tourism sectors who are at great risk.” @WelshGovernment @KenSkatesMS @RebeccaEvansMS https://t.co/8hMXtgfh91
We’ll find out on Friday if @fmwales and @KenSkatesMS listening to go industry advice. This could go 2 way, they kill tourism or they will allow us to trade and welcome our caravan owners back.
Agreed @MikeHedgesAM None want to open before it is safe. Identical issues for @scotgov so they gave indicative date to prevent customer exodus & dispell despair of those who live by tourism so reducing uncertainty for business, the jobs & communities we sustain
