We will send out a PlatteAlert message an hour or so ahead of the Tornado Drill to test our PlatteAlert system and to notify of the Drill.

A reminder that we will be conducting a Tornado Drill sometime between 10 am and 11 am on Tuesday, April 11th. We will set off the sirens for a three minutes blast. The five Platte County towns will have their sirens set off at different times for each town.

This is a PlatteAlert message for the Guernsey area. The problem with 911 calls from landlines in the Guernsey area has been fixed. This is a PlatteAlert message

Lumen/CenturyLink has notified us that land lines in the Guernsey area are temporarily unable to call 911. They are working to correct the problem. Cellphones are still able to call 911. We will notify when the situation is resolved. This has been a PlatteAlert message.
