👾🛡️
Hey everyone, Nick here.
I just want to give a quick update on Play Pouch and be upfront about where things are at.
When I started this, it was meant to be something small but meaningful. A proper kit for the PSG1, built by me, not a big company.
I’ve spent the past few months sorting production, design, samples, freight, and everything in between. But the deeper we got, the clearer it became that the costs were too heavy to make it work properly.
With global shipping, production minimums, and all the fees that stack on top, I’d be running at a loss from day one.
Rather than push through and risk doing it badly, I’m shutting it down properly and refunding everyone who placed an order this week.
It sucks, because there’s been so much time, love, and energy put into this. But I’d rather step back cleanly, take the lessons, and rebuild smarter when the time is right.
Thank you to everyone who supported, shared, or believed in it. You’ve proven there’s demand for community built products, and that means a lot.
This isn’t the end. It’s just a reset.
👾🛡️
Protect. Play. Repeat.
@Floydbanks83 Moq is 250 units. I needed pre sales. The community wanted approval from Jay first which i understand but i just can’t afford it on my own. Needed a grant and another couple more months to find the right OEM.
@Floydbanks83 🥹 I’m so sorry mate, I just can’t make it happen.
These are the shipping costs in NZD. Total weight would be about 800grams -1kg. So we are looking at $30+ USD shipping alone.
These are commercial rates too. Public rates are exactly double this 💀
👾 The community’s been loud (and we love that)
We’ve gone back, sharpened the numbers, and made Play Pouch 🛡️ easier to grab
Same kit. Same energy. New price.
Appreciate every one of you for keeping it real. This thing’s built by all of us.
