@PSA_Sitch@EthanVanSciver Also Sitch, you and Adam did a great job on Kyles Show particularly on the trans issue. I wish you would’ve pinned kyle down a bit more at the end with his “oh we will just have to wait and see in 20 years I guess to see who’s right lols” but overall well done. Good discussion.
@PSA_Sitch@EthanVanSciver I do agree in principle yea I am just saying I am not sure if it’s as clear a “violation of the first amendment” as you say. But yes I would prefer the governor not to have that power myself. Im just saying it may be a bit grayer than at first glance.
@PSA_Sitch@EthanVanSciver Also Desantis did not stop or hinder their ability of Disney to continue to speak freely. Yes he is imposing a negative consequence but the negative consequence is taking away a favorable term that many other businesses do not receive. Local and state governments can do this.
@PSA_Sitch@EthanVanSciver Now if Desantis created an entire new tax bracket that forces Disney to pay insane rates and abuses his actual power i would agree. But Disney knew the terms, these tax incentives can be repealed at the behest of the local government like anywhere else.
@donutapp The fact that we have zero idea about the negotiations or what’s in these plans other than what you relay back to us is absurd. You have my hard earned money i saved up to go to college and I can’t even imagine other people who may have kids or something. This feels too coporaty
@donutapp I want to also say that this is all out of your users control. I have nothing against the workers at donut specifically who are just doing their job, but Neel should be sending us email updates further explaining things if he feels differently or so we can get his perspective.
@RichardPicture3@donutapp I really should’ve just withdrew the money in that moment when I got that email but honestly I believed him and now I pay the price for it. Whether I not it’s heels specific fault I’m not sure but he no doubt bears some amount of responsibility in this. Learned my lesson.
@RichardPicture3@donutapp That too let’s not forget that gem. We only ever found out the percentages of diversity after we got to withdraw our funds from the other lenders totally either 5 or 14.5%. All after neel told us donut and their lenders had “NO EXPOSURE TO FTX”
@donutapp You lied about the collateral. You told me and other users that all lending partners had collateral of 125% but on the bankruptcy notes it says you have 80 million dollars worth of “unsecured” loans meaning they had zero collateral.
@cameron If getting the funds back was your highest priority there would’ve been an agreement and you would’ve let us see the negotiations and agreements instead you gave your customers WHO MAKE YOU MONEY vague explanations and updates. I’m so done it’s evil.
@cameron So in other words we are gonna sit around for 3-4 years while you two get into dick measuring contests and all the while we hope the gracious court grants what you want for us? Good luck and f you.
