As for Pokémon Winds and Waves, the battle system is a mix of the classic turn based battles with some of the features introduced in the Legends games.

The main change will be that area of effect attacks will now be a thing and the gimmick plays a role on them.

As GF themselves said, the transition will be gradual. We think it’s likely we will see some changes in Gen 10, then in Gen 11, all in anticipation of the MMO that will likely be the biggest Pokémon game ever and redefine a lot of core aspects of the Pokémon main series including the battle system.

Many Pokémon fans think this suspicious Johto activity from these official Pokémon accounts means that HGSS ports are coming. 😂
Sadly I don’t think that will be anytime soon.

BUT, maybe it means Pokopia DLC3 is in Johto?

Either way I LOVE that they referenced my boy Silver and that haiku is beautiful. 😭

I do think that after RSE, the next ports will be HGSS… but there’s just too much on the horizon right now. Maybe in a couple of years.
