The first episode of the new Pac-man animation series Snack Breaks has dropped! Episodes due out monthly. And I like it... Fun, fast, furious, great style and voices.

This indie developer is making a pixel art JRPG that looks like the second coming of Chrono Trigger
It's called Threads of Time, do you love the visuals like me?
AI has NO chance against remakes like this (and I am not even slightly joking lol). Hoomuns win every time. (From someone who supports the use of AI as a tool btw)
"some people say that watching a good movie (as a director) creates more stress thinking, 'why can't i do it like that?'. but that's not true for me, i don't really compare myself much. i focus on the movie and think it's wonderful that art like this exists in the world and feel grateful for it. in such a messy world, there are people who create works like this, and it's such a relief that these works have been completed and i get to see them.
in fact, i get stressed when i see works that aren't very good. not just movies but things under the name of art that pretend to have depth and act all arrogant. as if they're desperate for recognition & wanting to be acknowledged but are empty works. honestly, most art these days makes people so tired and often feels like a kind of pollution. so if you want to do something, you really have to do it well and thinking like that just adds to the stress."
If AI can replace humans *when it comes to our emotional core and basic humanity* then sure, I'll be a little perturbed. But that ain't happenin' as far as I can tell based on the technology. I'm on the side that believes if scientists dont know now how consciousness is defined I don't believe that engineers putting together a prediction engine are going to stumble on it by mistake.
And no one's talking about AI slop - everyone hates that.
