[ POSITION ]

• Jr Solovi
The top rate quarterback from the state of Utah represents the Panthers of West High. That QB, Kamden Lopati, has been one of the best players in the state for multiple seasons and has a chance to put up some big time numbers in his senior campaign. Not only that, I believe they have the team to compete for a championship in the 5A classification. The returning members of last years West team has a bad taste in their mouth after coming up short in the championship game. I expect them to attack this season with a chip on their shoulder and I anticipate QB1 will have something to prove.
Lopati has amassed nearly 60 TD’s and 6000 yards passing thus far, while adding almost 1500 additional yards on the ground. He’s an athletic player, a true dual threat, but can win games with his arm. This type of talent has lead to the opportunity for him to continue his playing career at the next level. Kamden recently committed to BIG 10 powerhouse Michigan which is a phenomenal accomplishment. I look forward to watching his final season In high school and can’t wait to see where he takes his career afterward.

⚫️ UTAHBALLERS - QB1 ⚫️
The UtahBallers QB1 program is designed to build, promote and assist high level quarterbacks so that they have the best opportunity to reach the next level. Promotion on this platform is EARNED, not given. The players highlighted on this series have been evaluated, coached and recognized at a top level prospect from the state of Utah. These quarterbacks meet the criteria for what college programs look for at the position.
• QB1 •
• Bryson Sweeney | 6’3 - 220 | 2027
Cannon arm, relentless work ethic, obvious leadership - those are a few of the traits that describe the Herriman QB1.
Bryson Sweeney is a great example of persistence in the face of adversity. The path he’s had as a quarterback hasn’t been easy, nothing has been given to him, there have been no shortcuts. I’ve had the opportunity to evaluate Bryson at several venues and the progress he has made is impressive.
Sweeney has attended multiple UtahBallers evaluation camps. He went from finishing outside the top ten 3 months ago, to earning camp MVP at our most recent event. This would not happen without a tremendous amount of time spent in the lab. I’ve found that he is a player who will give his all to his program, his teammates and to his craft. When we’ve trained together, it’s been about developing, not generating fake hype - bet on that.
From a prospect standpoint, there is a lot to like. At 6’3, 220 lbs, he has the frame to thrive at the next level. As a QB evaluator and trainer, I always want to see players that CAN pass to win - Bryson does that. He’s also improved athletically to the point that defenders will be forced to keep tabs on him in the run game. Bryson has the strongest arm in the state and is able to drive the ball with college level velocity anywhere on the field. His mechanics and release are quick, generates a tight spiral, and gets the ball from A to B in a hurry. He does this without needing the laces which is notable. He is the only player I’ve evaluated with that ability.
I’m eager to see his recruitment take off, this is someone college coaches should be watching.
