Some Guys in Ties presented at the MVCSD senior citizen’s luncheon about pride, passion, and purpose. They also helped Superintendent Seder pass out fun raffle prizes to the guests in attendance. They did a fantastic job representing themselves their families, and our school!

Happy world, kindness day!
My hope today is all of our junior jackets, choose to go above and beyond in exhibiting kindness to all those around them. What an opportunity for all of us adults to model this for them throughout our encounters today, and even every day.

Thank you Veterans for your selfless service and sacrifice! Our Junior Jackets celebrated and honored Veterans Day, along with the Knox County Joint Veterans Council, in an assembly this morning. What a wonderful way to say thank you!

On this Election Day our second graders hosted a polling station for all of our junior jackets to present voter id cards, vote, and submit their ballots into the box. The final count was completed and the results will be shared tomorrow. What a fun memory!

We have celebrated homecoming all week by participating in the district spirit week. Today we raised the roof with a wonderful homecoming assembly with the MVCSD seniors. We also celebrated (for the 3rd year in a row) a queen that was a PSES student!! Congratulations Adabelle!!

Today we experienced some great activities to use during fee time or recess time that are rhythmic, repetitive, regulating, and cross midline. Our goal was to learn new thing to play that are not specifically competitive. Ask your Junior Jacket what activity was their favorite.

Local art collaboration at The Annex today to make paper flowers that will be hung in the Gund's gallery.

Thank you to New Life Church and First Church of the Nazarene for all of their hard work today. Our work crew spent the day moving equipment and cleaning in preparation of our locker rooms becoming classrooms. What a great day of serving together.
