CNN, MS NOW and Politico are melting down because they’ve had to report from outside the White House for one day.

I couldn’t get access to cover President Biden or even the 2024 DNC. Neither could many of my peers in independent media. We pay our own way. We don’t have billion-dollar corporations backing us. Where was the outrage then?

And when President Trump, RFK Jr. and other conservatives were deplatformed, much of the mainstream media laughed and celebrated. They weren’t screaming about an attack on free speech when we were silenced.

President Trump has opened the White House to independent journalists, podcasters and new-media voices who were shut out before. He’s the most transparent President we’ve had.

I’m a free-speech absolutist. I believe in a free press. But that doesn’t give anyone the right to run into the Oval Office, scream and yell at the President, and then expect to face no consequences for printing lies or slanderous claims.

Then police reportedly pulled guns and ammunition from the apartment where her son lives.

Her son was not arrested.

The roommate was.

And that distinction matters.

Because the roommate is described as having a lengthy criminal record.

So if this is the kind of person gun control is supposed to stop…

what new law was going to do it?

The legal gun owner goes to the counter.

Fills out the forms.

Passes the background check.

Pays the fees.

Waits for approval.

The criminal skips all of that.

That is the part politicians never want to sit with.

Their laws land on the person who follows the law.

Not the person already going around it.

Then a reporter asked Ilhan Omar about what happened.

Nothing.

Not a word.

Ask about somebody else’s tragedy, and there is a speech ready.

Ask about guns in her own son’s apartment, and suddenly the microphone disappears.

So here is the real question:

Do gun bans stop criminals, or do they mostly create more rules for the people already following them?

Next year, maybe, but they will be expensive, probably 85-100k, a bit pricey for a maid but then again I’m not in that category that I need a maid. Probably in two or three years they will have that cost down to a more affordable retail price tag for the consumer. At about 5’8” and a weight of 125 lbs, I’ll bet it could climb a latter, paint your house, trim your bushes and/or help out with the yard work besides just being a maid 😁

This should have been done long ago. So sick of Congress acting like they rule over us! They work for us but have managed to conveniently forget this!!

President Trump is asking everyone to share this, in three days, most people in the United States will have seen the message. This is an idea that should be passed around, regardless of political party.

The TRUMP Rules:

1. Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman/woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they're out of office. And no more perks go with them.

2. Congress (past, present, & future) participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.

3. Congress must purchase their own retirement plan, just as ALL Americans do.

4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise at the same rate as the COLA for monthly Social Security recipients minus 1% if having a budget balance deficit.

5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system (Medicare) as the American people.

6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people (i.e. NO MORE INSIDER TRADING!!!).

7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women. Congress made all these contracts by and for themselves.
Serving in Congress is an honor and privilege, NOT a career.

The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators should serve their term(s), then go home and go back to work … not get all kinds of freebies. Term limits of 2 terms and treat them like a regular citizen.

OK. So I'm getting lots of pushback about my concerns regarding J.D. Vance's proposal to pay working moms to stay home. In general, I would love for every mom to be home. Here are my issues with this program:

1) Does this continue until the kid turns 18? What if the mom wants to stay home and homeschool? It would need to continue that long, right?

2) Is this $9K per child? You saw what LBJ's idea did... encouraged many women esp. in low income communities to have babies for the sole intent of increasing their welfare check. I want more babies, too, but I want us to foster makers not takers.

3) I understand that it's not a new tax. But the original program was created to fund childcare facilities. You saw what happened... runaway fraud in the learing centers! Do you think that this will decrease fraud? People are creative, and they will figure out a way to game the system. No question. If the government wants to help the economy and increase wealth, get rid of the tax period and refund it to the people, all people.

4) Is this a function of government? Not in my opinion. It is socialism, straight up. So in general I oppose programs that redistribute wealth, but I do see this as a way to help families. I just don't see it as the best way.

5) If they enact it, it needs to encourage the family unit... mom, dad, kids. I don't see it doing that. Divorce and the death of one parent are inevitable. It is not an incentive to grow familes.

6) Wasn't the child tax credit on our federal income tax supposed to be the answer to the cost of raising kids? That has morphed into a given, no longer considered a benefit. And so it will be with any amount of money that is given to the people from the taxpayers. It will merely prolong the need to collect more taxes, and it will grow as the population grows.

That's it. If I think of anything else, I'll post below. And mind you, I have great empathy and admiration for every woman who chooses to stay at home and raise children. I won't freak out if this is passed, but my preference would be to stop the wealth redistribution and refund the tax to everyone.

While we’re at it maybe it’s time someone to explain where all the Discretionary Funds from the Lottery go as well. Last time I checked it was over a quarter million so far this year. Both sides have no answer when it comes to this question but say the public doesn’t understand how that money is spent. I think it’s time we found out before getting fleeced by another slush fund project, which is what this 1% tax really seems to be.
