@jacobfobes @calebnichols21 Even the atheistic mind has to admit that objective truth needs to come from a higher power in order to exist. Friedrich Nietzsche is a great example.

@jacobfobes @calebnichols21 I am saying objective truth exists, and based on how humans live their lives we can see this plainly. My next point is that because it exists we know there’s a higher power. I don’t believe that nothing created everything, but instead believe that something created everything.

@jacobfobes @calebnichols21 My point is that we naturally don’t perceive life from a subjective Pooh by of view. We see things that we know are messed up, and we call them bad. Something evil happens to someone we love and we call that evil.

@jacobfobes You are taking this verse so far out of context. Ephesians 6:5-8 is speaking to bondservants telling them to obey their masters with a good will just as they obey Christ. Later in the passage it speaks on Masters, & that they are not to threaten or mistreat their servants.

@jacobfobes In ancient Biblical times slavery was a contract in which you worked for someone and they provided you with a home and food. For many people this was a blessing to them. To be a slave or servant to a loving master that cares for you.

@jacobfobes Well then I believe that you, as someone who appears to be seeking things of value and of truth, should do the correct thing and research and study both sides of each argument. Do it with a mindset where you’re not trying to disprove one or the other, but instead seeking truth.

@jacobfobes True, but truth would need to come from some higher power or source that exerts power and control over the universe. The question now is can we ever understand this higher power or is it unknown to us. I would say it’s the God of the Bible and that he has revealed himself to us.
