@JotakuToys It is kinda facinating to see these because of that yeah, they really do feel like collectible figures from toybiz's marvel legends era, or really just slightly fancier toys aimed at kids they decided to market for adults too.

Main point is lego is for kids no matter what marketing.
As for cheaper sets, obviously they will come later, Lego always roll them out after a big set to test the waters.

@RedTornado418 @bruhhskiii well yeah, it is marketed mainly towards adults, I still call it a kids toy because lego is for kids no matter what packeting there is, 18+ is more a guideline for build complexity (which kids can still 100% do just fine)

Finally LEGO has always been expensive, just conflate older way simpler builds with smaller piece counts with more modern detailed builds with way more pieces. like comparing the 1999 x-wing with 300 pieces with one with 2k pieces.

@MollyCAvenue Many ip lines nowadays get one big set to judge demand and then trickle out into smaller sets later on, finally 18+ doesn't actually mean adult only, it's just marketing kids can build these just fine, in fact many kids probably would get this too, or families build together
