🇺🇸🇺🇦🇷🇺🚨 U.S. intelligence is warning of a potentially major Russian ballistic-missile attack on Ukraine within the next 48 hours, with Kyiv and the surrounding region facing particular danger after days of sustained drone strikes.
According to the U.S. intelligence warning, Russia has prepared 35 ballistic missiles for possible use against Ukraine. Special attention is being focused on Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast, which have already been subjected to repeated attacks by Shahed-type jet-powered drones over the past several days.
If Moscow launches the full prepared salvo, Ukraine’s air-defense network could face another severe saturation test, particularly around the capital. The combination of persistent drone pressure followed by a concentrated ballistic strike would fit Russia’s broader effort to exhaust interceptors, complicate defensive planning and increase the pressure on strategically important urban and military infrastructure.

Breaking 🚨🔥;
🇷🇺 RUSSIA: "We can deploy tactical warheads and send hypersonics straight into your European capitals before you can react!"
🇫🇷 FRANCE: "Forget warning shots. Before your warheads re-enter the atmosphere, M51 SLBMs from nuclear submarines will turn your continent to ash."
ABSOLUTE CINEMA 🔥
Sweden will deploy warships and aircraft to help Finland defend against drones near its border with Russia. The deployment follows a Finnish request amid increasingly frequent NATO airspace violations by drones, which Swedish forces associate with Russia’s war against Ukraine. Swedish warships, fighter aircraft and ground units capable of suppressing or destroying drones may participate. Forces could operate from Finland and temporarily come under Finnish command, strengthening both Finland’s defenses and NATO’s eastern flank.

🔥More footage! In Anapa’s wetlands, 80 rescuers and 25 vehicles are battling the fire. Strong winds are spreading smoke across the area. Monitoring teams and fire crews are deployed near residential areas. Air support is expected once the drone alert is lifted. - local media
Attribution of responsibility for the drone attack in Leipzig, Germany, is imminent.
If it was indeed Russia—as many reports and investigators currently assume—the implications would be historic:
Russia would have attacked Germany with drones, intending to kill Germans in the process.
The crucial question now is: How will Friedrich Merz react?
1/ Russia intends to force Europe to stop supporting Ukraine by making Ukrainian cities uninhabitable and raising the war's cost to a politically unsustainable level, according to a Russian commentary. The author anticipates Europe's public revolting against aid to Ukraine. ⬇️
russian Solovyov:
“Once again we will have to destroy Berlin, and enter this godforsaken city. Once again we will have to enter Paris. Once again we will have to liberate Vienna. Well, perhaps the Austrians will reconsider.
It doesn’t mean that we want this. But one of the principles postulated by our supreme commander-in-chief is: when we are forced to act, then we act. First, of course, the principle of ‘do no harm’ — but then… please don’t blame us.”
....
...said someone from a country that has been stuck in the Donbas for five years during a full-scale invasion🧐, someone from a country where they are currently fighting for can of gasoline.🤷♀️
No, they don't want that; they don't want to harm...
That is why they are now killing in Ukraine in a senseless war!🤦♀️
Ex-CIA officer Wiswesser: Hitler thought Western democracies were “worms” and would never act. He was shocked when Britain and France declared war.
Putin thinks the same. He sees the West as weak and unwilling to act. By failing to deter him, we keep enabling him. 1/
Now would be a GREAT time for Mark Carney to CANCEL the F-35 and BUY the GRIPEN from SWEDEN.
The F-35 is made in RED Trump states that hate Canada. Canceling would put thousands of #MAGA out of work. The GRIPEN will be made in CANADA by CANADIANS.
Canadians share this 🇨🇦🫡❤️
Our proposal to get Europe forward towards a Federation is to start with the Benelux first, as a historic testing ground of European Integration, it should pick that role up again to prove that federal cooperation works, making it attractive for others to join.
The idea is to create a Benelux Federation between Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, while keeping their own national identities, cultures and local politics. The federation would focus on the things where working together gives them more power and ambition: defence, trade and foreign relations, industry, energy, infrastructure and the internal market.
Semiconductors: They already have ASML, imec, NXP and many strong suppliers. Now they should build the full chain around them, from research and design to manufacturing, packaging and testing. Make the Benelux Europe's semiconductor hub by pooling resources, similar to Japan's semiconductor manufacturing plan.
Ports: Rotterdam and Antwerp-Bruges together handle around 695 million tonnes of cargo a year. Instead of competing separately, they should work as one Benelux port and logistics system, connecting ports, railways, waterways, pipelines and industry.
High-speed rail: Build a new Benelux network designed for 400 km/h or faster, integrating all cities, and making federal travel seamless.
Defence: They already train and operate together. The next step is to integrate procurement, logistics, intelligence, cyber defence, air defence and command. Buy more together, reduce duplication and build a stronger Benelux defence industry.
Industry: Create a common industrial strategy and investment fund for semiconductors, AI, robotics, biotechnology, defence and advanced manufacturing. Make it easier and faster to build factories and scale companies across the Benelux.
Federal government and simplification: Create a small federal government responsible only for the powers given to the federation, while keeping national governments and local politics intact. Make the Benelux the least bureaucratic country in the world by removing unnecessary rules, standardising where possible and making decisions fast. Give businesses clear rules, one digital system and simple permits, so that starting a company, building a factory or expanding across the Benelux is as easy as possible.
Energy: Plan the electricity grid, standardised nuclear power buildout, offshore wind, hydrogen, solar and other major energy infrastructure together. A bigger connected energy system gives industry more security and makes the region more attractive for investment.
Culture: Build a shared Benelux identity while keeping each country's own culture and traditions. Promote shared history, food, music, sport and heritage, while becoming known for combining European heritage with a modern and innovative future.
Ambition: Make the Benelux a blueprint for the economy of the future, leading in robotisation, AI, advanced manufacturing, quantum technology, biotechnology, new materials and space. Invest heavily in research and turn new technologies into companies, industries and jobs. The federation should aim to build one of the most advanced economies in the world, from automated factories and next-generation infrastructure to European space infrastructure and a future Moon base.
European scale: A Benelux Federation would still have limits because three countries cannot match the scale of the United States, China or the largest global markets. To become a true world leader, Europe would need to integrate further. The Benelux should therefore be the first blueprint showing that more European integration and democratisation can work at a federal level, creating a model that other European countries can join and build on over time.
The point of the project is to prove a Federal Europe would work, not by words, but by tangible results. Once proven, our nations would have a reason to federate.
Benelux pushed EU in integration before, it should do it again!
After calling for civilians to be demoralized by bombing Ukrainian cities, Russian officials are once again issuing nuclear threats, saying Russia is "obliged" to use tactical nuclear weapons to force Ukraine to surrender.
"We are delivering devastating strikes on the enemy’s infrastructure. But we must hit harder so that the enemy understands that it must surrender.
There are discussions about whether we can use tactical nuclear weapons. Listen, there should not even be such a discussion. If necessary, we are obliged to use them," Russian State Duma MP Zhuravlyov said.
This doesn't even pass the laugh test.
Russia claims Moldova is being armed by the West in preparation for a war against Russia. No evidence was given.
How exactly a landlocked country of 2.4 million which does not border Russia would launch such an attack was not detailed. 🙄
Very important points from General Yevhenii Khmara, Ukraine’s new Defense Minister:
Russia is not interested in Donetsk or Luhansk separately. Its goal is all of Ukraine. Putin sees this war as part of the continued formation of his empire. 1/9
Nothing Russia does in Ukraine is "retaliation."
Russia launched this unprovoked war, struck warehouses first, and committed war crimes from day one.
Claiming Moscow is merely retaliating when Ukraine fights back is ignorant or complicit
❗️The General Staff of Ukraine reported strikes on three facilities in Russia: the Kirishi oil refinery in Leningrad Oblast (capacity of about 20 million tons of oil per year) followed by a fire, a storage, preparation and launch site for strike UAVs in Millerovo, Rostov Oblast (also with a fire), and Yeysk airfield in Krasnodar Krai, where a fire likewise broke out.
Europe Can Hit Russia Harder Than Anyone Admits.
European air forces could break Russia's fleets in a single night. The dangerous question is what a nuclear state does when the only army it has left is busy in Ukraine.
This is a scenario, not a forecast. It is built from open-source evidence available at the end of August 2026: real force levels, real bases, real distances, real doctrine and real sentences spoken by real people. Four assumptions drive it. The war in Ukraine continues without a ceasefire.
The United States, at war with Iran since February, keeps its forces in Europe out of the fighting, neither blocking European action nor joining it. Investigators recover enough Russian hardware from the wreckage for governments to act on attribution. And no nuclear weapon is used, although the scenario is largely about how close it comes. Everything after the first crash is simulation. The world it happens in is not.
