Plot to Shop is a community project at Surrey Docks Farm where adults with learning disabilities grow fruit and vegetables and sell them in the farm shop.
We have our wreath kits (wreath+ bag of decorations) and lots of jerusalem artichokes in the farm shop. We are also on blue sky now so please follow us if you're using it
It's been a good tomato season but we now have pretty much the last of them in the shop, but we also have our delicious monster tromboncinos and a few squashes
Our white onions are being harvested and are for sale in the shop, they are dense crisp onions with a clean bright flavour perfect for using in salsa, guacamole or finely sliced as a garnish
Please sponsor us! We’re braving the Lloyds of London Charity Abseil on 27th June, climbing down the 250ft high famous building to raise funds for Surrey Docks Farm. We need your donations to help us overcome any fears as we start our descent: https://t.co/xLGDSleqy9
It’s TOMORROW!! See you at the Farm from 11am-4pm to watch the sheep get a haircut, check out the craft stalls, shop plants, sample delicious pizza or burgers, play fair games, stroke the rabbits and chill in the field with a cold drink! ☀️
Plot to Shop students are harvesting their green garlic this week! Two of the team enjoyed pulling up the first bulbs this morning & there’s lots more to come.
Visit the farm shop to buy yours, or taste it in our delicious pizza sauce at the Spring Fair on Saturday! 🧄🍕☀️
We’ve been busy pricking out seedlings & now have lots of beautiful plants to grow on here & many more for sale. Particularly tomato plants! Visit our shop for bargain-priced plants, lovingly grown from seed in our peat-free compost & know you’re directly supporting the Farm! 🌱
Although we have honey bees in the orchard, most of our pollinating is done by other insects like this lovely Tawney mining bee with its face buried in a broad bean flower #GoodToGrow2024
We grow a lot of plants, we sell the ones we don't need outside the shop, named varieties of tomato for £2 each and unknown for £1 each as well as other herbs, vegetable plants and flowers

Reusing donated pots really helps us keep the prices of our plants down, it also means instead of shopping for pots we can spend our time planting plants😁🪴🌿
Help! We need your plant pots! The horticulture team have been so busy potting on plants, we’re now running low on the smaller sizes. If you have any pots you’re not using, please drop in at the farm shop and we can reuse them! 🌱♻️
We are selling pots of cat grass in the farm shop, it's a hit with this cat who has stopped chewing her flatmate's orchids and is thoroughly enjoying it, so much so that we suspect she may be part rabbit
