I am falling into old patterns.

I created this account primarily to support my @onchain_journal YouTube channel.

However, I've realized that I often engage with leadership, mindset, and personal development content—my old habitat. And this interest will probably grow even more.

For the last six years, I led the Engineering Department of a startup as a Director. I was good at it! The startup grew to 400 employees in four years and reached a billion-dollar valuation. I was employee No. 2.

It was the ride of a lifetime. I failed a lot. I grew a lot.

Despite everything, something inside me grew—the drive to create something for myself again. I had already failed at building a company in the past, but now I am ready again. So, I left.

This time, I chose a path that has followed me all my life. It's not content creation. It's talking into a camera and being on stage.

Content creation enables me to do that. So here I am.

What content will eventually support my business in the long run?

We shall see!

But that's the beautiful part of building a business—the ambiguity and the growth that come with it.

Google just released their first multimodal embedding model. Text, images, audio, and video in one vector space.

I implemented into @KioriHQ, a knowledge workbench, and spent the week adding the new embedding model.

The thing that's actually cool: you can search "find the revenue chart" and it returns the actual document that contains the image with the chart, even if nobody ever described the image in text.

@TfTHacker I think AI will be taking away the "management" part of PKM. It should do the job that our brains are not good at.
The important part is that we maintain the part of building knowledge.

@dr Claude Code is doing a lot of heavy lifting. But if you look carefully, there are many little bad things it produces without the right guidelines. The one-shot may work but don't expect it to be efficient or secure etc

Alright folks, I have been quiet for a while.

Some of you might know I used to be a Director of Engineering. But you know what? I kinda found my building mojo again. And honestly, it’s been sooo much fun.

Over the years of my insane AI usage I noticed something interesting.

I find myself going down rabbit holes of endless curiosity and I can’t stop asking questions!
Pre-AI we still had the friction of having to google, find and read everything relevant in a manual fashion.
Nowadays, you get a tailored answer with new questions you want answered.
So you continue and you never stop.
Anyone else feeling this?
