夫と2人暮らしです。不妊治療したものの子供は授からず。多発筋腫のためやむなくR4に子宮全摘。その後合併症で腸閉塞。
R7.2右肺上葉切除。子宮平滑筋肉腫肺転移でした。人生いろいろですが「笑って生きる」を目標に日々日常を生きています💚

he's telling a story from a Presbyterian congregation in the USA - a preacher stood at the pulpit and said Jesus personally saved him from a car accident

fresco's response was simple and RIDICULOUS to the room:

- if proximity to faith actually saved people, it should've saved EVERYBODY in that same accident
- it didn't
- some people died in identical crashes, closer to the church, praying harder

for context, this is the same pattern behind almost every "miracle survival" story - survivorship bias wearing a religious costume

it wasn't Jesus

it was a seatbelt, a speed limit, and dumb luck
