The final haiku we will be sharing is by Y8 Miya who has both accurately maintained the 5, 7, 5 haiku syllable count as well as incorporating nature, also typical of the haiku form.
A perfect message to sum up a year of learning. Well done, Miya! ⭐️
Y7 Abigail’s bailie captures the nerves all pupils feel when starting secondary school, but how quickly these feelings are forgotten when they make friends and adapt. Well done, Abigail! 💫
Y7 Amelia has written a wonderful selection of haiku for us to enjoy, all relating to her first year at Plume. Another PE lover!
Thank you for writing and sharing, Amelia! ⭐️
Y9 Summer has expressed her joy of learning in English lessons this year.
Summer has accurately followed the typical 5, 7, 5 syllable count of the Japanese haiku poem.
Well done, Summer! 🌟
Y8 Aimee’s haiku for the end of school year expresses her joy at the drama production ‘Mary Pop pins’ put on this year.
I was also privileged to watch Aimee, along with other Plume pupils, in this brilliant production.
Great syllable count, Aimee! 🌟
Y7 Willow’s end of year haiku highlights how she has enjoyed PE during her first year at Plume.
I know @PlumePE will be glad to see this! Well done, Willow! 🌟
We had lots of other brilliant ‘Chaos’ 100 word story entries; we wish we could share them all!
We will be announcing the winners upon return to school in September.
Next up, we will be sharing some summer extra curricular entries we had to our end of year haiku competition!
We have had some fantastic extra curricular 100 word stories written by our pupils based on the theme ‘chaos’.
We will be sharing a selection of these over the next week… keep your eyes peeled here to read them soon! ✍️ 🌟 📚
