@DSATStPeter@BorisJohnson@wiltspoliceCC Hello Grovely, I remember some of my favourite toys were Strawberry Shortcake and Cabbage Patch dolls. French skipping and long rope skipping were our favourite games at playtime.
How good is this?! Well done physio Charlotte. Making rehab ‘real’ and personal is the only way. Rehab for the person, not the condition #physioworks#personcentredcare
This was 10 days post pelvic exenteration... me and my lovely physiotherapist Charlotte. Both of us are ballet trained so we did a little twist on this physio session. Made my heart so happy to do a little dancing again! #recovery#gettingstronger#onceadancer

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. ‘People start to heal once they feel heard’.
The healing powers of personalised attention cannot be overstated and no app or website can replace this.

@desmitsystems Yes, worrying about not having an “accident” in front of your colleagues or customers is hugely stressful and affects so many. We all need to invest in good postnatal care and education #physioworks
@TMI_Amanda Until one brave lady told me about her SUI. The embarrassment of training in front of her male colleagues was almost career ending. Lesson learnt and a journey into pelvic health begun.
@TMI_Amanda Working as a female MSK physio in the Army I’m ashamed to say that it took a while for the penny to drop that some female soldiers presenting with MSK injuries would never get better despite lots of treatment........
I agree wholeheartedly. There is still a lot of work to be done in educating other health professionals and the public about the specialist work pelvic health physios do. High level evidence, life changing and cost saving but access to NHS provision is so variable.
Pelvic physio shouldn’t be the end of the road, in fact it should be the beginning of it for POP and SUI. There is high level evidence that physio works. We should be shouting louder about what specialist physio can achieve. #pelvichealthphysio#pelvicphysiotherapy#physioworks
#multitasking skills have developed to a new level whilst adjusting to life in a pandemic - playing catch up with some admin while the Sylvanians want to join in apparently #areyoufinishedmum
Being breathless can be challenging and we know recovering from #COVID_19 can feel difficult. One of our respiratory physios has made this video showing some strategies to manage breathlessness.

@sara_kayat I remember the first ‘proper’ exercise I did after my first baby - felt great for lots of different reasons. Definitely worth checking in with @themummymot for a really in depth postnatal #Physio assessment if you haven’t already. 🏃♀️
