@TwinzerDad As a preschool teacher I have realized children will eat anything if you put ketchup on their plate. Peaches, lettuce, cheese sticks are some of the more disgusting combinations I have witnessed.

@OrganicLifeJrny She loved it, it was actually not painful at all. She is cranky now that we are home because she suffered a slight sunburn and two bug bites but otherwise we managed it fabulously.

@epicdadlife My younger sister claimed dibs on the big tent but I think normally it would be perfect. I am a little sad that her pack and play won't fit in the one I am using this weekend. :-/

@RachyRants I was super worried about it being too cold at night so I bought a snow suit but I just checked & the low is 62 so it is unlikely it will be needed. Haha. My tent is small so I'm bringing a Doc-a-Tot to have her sleep in and her pack and play for outside the tent during the day.

@dad_moments I appreciate that there are risks but I want camping to be a norm in her childhood like it was mine. We are going to a site I am really familiar with and that doesn't have much risk and is not too far out of the city.
