a fursuit that is AI generated is for sale at @TheDealersDen be careful with what you buy! Make sure it is from a known maker and not just an ad!

Someone named Rockary made a bid of 1k I really hope they won’t loose their money!

Look how the design does not 1/2

I had suspected that VRChat had not yet broken even. This unfortunate event supports, though does not confirm, that hypothesis. This is why it's so important to support companies and products you like when you can. VRChat is a free game with very real costs they have to maintain.

I have a few other thoughts on this. Firstly VRChat has always been very close to their community, i'm not surprised to see them being so transparent about this even going as far as allowing the email from the CEO to the team to be posted. You would never see this from the sorts of "greedy corpos" people are trying to make VRChat out to be.

Secondly, within the first paragraph of that email the CEO states "Jesse and I take full responsibility for the decisions that brought us here." Good. If you have ever been at the helm of something like this you should know that everything is your responsibility. This again shows that the people in charge of VRChat are not self centered and greedy. I'm not really buying the idea that this is some mega corp greed thing. I think they genuinely are struggling and need to figure out how to turn a profit before the whole thing falls apart.

We as a community need to find ways to support social VR wherever we can. I have been seeing people bring up the recent furality event in reference to this. That event was massive, but also costs a lot of money to put on, both from the Furality and VRChat teams. Revenue from events like this or Vket or PJKT are a good, community driven source of income for VRChat but only if the community supports them.

Buy VRChat plus. If you have a business, advertise at Vket or PJKT. If you are a furry, attend Furality. If you love a specific world creator, buy something from their creator economy page. VRChat needs money to operate, and if we the community aren't going to support them then they will have to continue seeking funding elsewhere and the community will have less of a say in the future of the platform.

Lastly I want to send my condolences to the entire team, current and previous. Losing a job you love (hi pokemon) is one of the most gut wrenching things that can happen in life, and i hope that it does not happen to anyone again.

I'm sure you've seen this already, but VRChat is adding an anti-cheat and the mod community is organising a boycott in response.

You can do your part and make VRC overturn the decision:
• Don't launch vrchat
• Cancel vrc+ subscriptions
• And tell your friends to do the same

[FidgetTheNimbat @PlushFidget]

@sanjistitch Yup. I have a few stitch plushies and already just bought another one a few moments ago. Also I saw you posted a link to your twitter on the Telegram group chat, Plush After Dark

[FidgetTheNimbat @PlushFidget]

I thought it was about time to add a hole on Stitch's bum last night and use him. Was pretty fun.
