Released in 1975, Rikki-Tikki-Tavi was an animated television special directed by legendary animator Chuck Jones and based on the classic story by Rudyard Kipling.
The story follows a brave mongoose who takes on two deadly cobras to protect the family that rescued him. For a generation of kids, it was one of those rare animated films that felt genuinely intense. The stakes were real, the villains were terrifying, and you couldn't help but root for Rikki-Tikki every step of the way.
More than 50 years later, it's still remembered as one of the finest animated adaptations ever put on television.

@BNightengale An odd question to poise but here I go anyway… why don’t players get prophylactic hamate bone surgery in the off-season or when they are rehabbing another, longer recovery injury so they won’t get into these six-plus-week IR situation at the worst times?
Also, since there were so many requests to help out with the whole cancer treatment process, we set up a page if you want to chip in. You guys are awesome. Thanks. https://t.co/y4ptIsgodi
@JonahDispatch I suspect this book is a whitewash of (queue the doom music) Woodrow Wilson’s role in all the nastiness of the era. Your thoughts? And if it is somewhat positive or even neutral, maybe a good Remnant guest since there will be tension: https://t.co/hHbKOYrLEx
Friendly reminder that the Hyrax is not a rodent nor closely related to them. Their true closest living relatives are surprisingly Elephants and Manatees.
Today was the topper of our entire trip. After an incredible safari adventure in Tanzania and Kenya, we concluded our African wild animal survey with the #MountainGorillas on the bamboo-covered slopes of the Virunga Mountains in the Volcanoes National Park in #Rwanda.
