@PlymBridgeCAMHS and @LivewellCYPPOS are in the process of implementing #QI project 'Safewards' which looks at reducing incidents including those involving restraint. #CAMHS https://t.co/kleJfYkfLE
Reducing physical restraint
Barriers to implementation were identified, centring on a lack of time and/or resources; with the provision of more time for staff to spend with patients and implement interventions seen as essential.

#SenisLaw regarding the use of restraint in young peoples services. We at Plym Bridge record all uses of 'force' and our staff are trained in verbal de-escalation and conflict resolution but are always looking to improve. Physical intervention should always be a last resort. https://t.co/Tq2pbaFvT1
Plsd that @JackieDP spks about the consensus and importance of sector support at #SenisLaw debate. @youngminds are delighted to support this crucial bill and we hope Gov’t will work with us in @UKHouseofLords to make vital improvements to strengthen bill. https://t.co/JBUTt8m7Qn
