Presentations were made to given in unit tonight! Cdt Sophie was awarded the PaddleStart award. Gnr Peppitt was presented with his 6 years service certificate. Thank you for your commitment over the last 6 years!

A massive BZ to our two new Leading Cadets, LC Chloe and LC Bella who passed their board today at Avonmouth Unit.
Our two new Killickโs are pictured below being presented their new rates by Lt Cdr (SCC) Priest RNR, DO Avon.

The unit was proud to mark Remembrance Sunday alongside the @RoyalNavy, @BritishArmy@ArmyCadetsUK and @aircadets on Plymouth Hoe.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.
The cadets this evening did an amazing effort. 21 cadets marched the equivalent of 29.4 miles together today. This leaves 122 miles before they get to HMNB Portsmouth! BZ all.

Today saw presentations and goodbyes. This was Able Cadet Tobyโs final parade night. He was presented with a valedictory certificate and challenge coin. We him all the best.
ACs Bella & Lewis were presented with their 3rd good conduct stripes and OC Harvey with his 2nd. BZ all!
This evening we were proud to support the RNA Plymouth Branchโs annual dinner and dance at the WO and SRs mess at HMS Drake. Cadets acted as a lining party for the VIP guests at the mess.

Finally we have two celebrations for Captain Arthur Ainslie RN Rtd, our chairman. Arthur was belatedly presented his Captains Commendation & his certificate as runner up for the 24/25 chair award. These awards recognise Arthurโs outstanding commitment and leadership to the unit.

AB Lazenby attended his final parade night as he ages out. He joined the unit as a junior and achieved a huge amount as a cadet from power boating to first aid. He was presented with a valedictory certificate and challenge coin.
Mr Len Lamerton stood down from our trustees this evening after 6 years supporting the UMT and spending most of that as our treasurer. We thank Len for his years of hard work!
Tonight we held a unit BBQ for all our ships company and their families. incredible weather with good scran and great company. It was also great to see cadets in banyan rig!
Events like this help build unit cohesion and moral. Thank you all who attended!

This weekend AC Bella and OC Jake are representing the unit and Devon District Sea Cadets at the South West Area Sea Cadets Area Sailing Regatta. The whole unit stands behind them and we look forward to hearing the results tomorrow (Sunday)!
