@themrlado@BBCSport There’s only women in the (elite) race. They run the same course as the men but they have finished before the leading men are even halfway. Ensures there is no pacing by men, so “women’s only” WR
@AthleticsWeekly Beautiful runner, brilliant performance. Pity the usually admirable commentators were so fixated on ‘Helen’s’ perspective until the last minute when Tigist surged ahead.
@IanTnf Yes….and on a 400m track they could and using the co-final idea would be absurd, but how can they really have a fair race on a tight 200m track? Turning it into a time trial is not ideal, but isn’t it the least worst idea?
Unacceptable that a media is allowed to mislead a whole country on Starmer, fact that @UKLabour delivered nearly 100 manifesto promises, wages are up, immigration at lowest level but they are able to spin that “Britain is broken”
It’s got to stop @lisanandy@darrenpjones@LBC
@James_Athletics Thought the Pentathlon was gripping, incredible performances, umpteen PBs and lead changing hands. Worthy medalists all but Jade was brilliant too, really sorry she missed out.
@James_Athletics James, I was there yesterday, saw you and almost came to say hello, but you had your official bib on and looked busy. Agree with you about the atmosphere: fantastic. Most exciting indoor event I’ve ever attended.
@_OwenM_@LinaFJNielsen@Laviai Really liked the ‘behind the scenes’ footage - super speech, captain!
How thrilling to pass/receive the baton to/from your twin sister and then come away with medals. Brilliant.
@LinaFJNielsen Thrilled for you both. Well deserved, super runs. Hope the noise drowned out me yelling ‘Go Lina’ as Laviai come off the first bend - missed the change from the morning running order .
Hope your outdoor Olympic season goes brilliantly too.
@EilishMccolgan@BBCiPlayer Just watched it. Brilliant documentary, inspiring and emotional and a fascinating insight into the commitment and dedication needed to succeed. Love watching you race. Hope there’s more to come.
