A signature moment for 14U Blue came on a buzzer beater 3 by Brynn Anderson (Albany) to defeat MN Stars Desart. Malin Youngberg (Little Falls) was the 3rd leading scorer in the Division.

8th Grade Blue built upon their great start to the season by taking 3rd place in Division 1, the best finish in the program’s history. This included W’s vs Fury Yellow, MN Stars Desart, and MN Stars OU.

RECRUITING / EXPOSURE

We are impatient. We want everything as soon as possible. That’s human nature.
The truth is, Colleges aren’t looking for 9th and 10th graders. Yes, it’s nice to get noticed, it’s nice to get recognized. But the reality is that by your Junior or Senior Year you will either be good enough to be recruited or you won’t.
What you did prior to that will literally play NO ROLE in whether or not a school thinks you are good enough to play for them.
I think of all the players/parents from 7th-10th grade that could have so much more growth if they focused on becoming the best they can be and building great habits… instead of marketing, exposure, and recruiting at that age. It would allow them to PLAY/FAIL/ADJUST/REPEAT without pressure.

- Alexandria is the “Gold Standard”
- Playing Alex is like picking your poison and hoping it’s enough to survive. Just so much talent everywhere
- Cihak was so impressive. This DL team is lucky to have him as a leader.

Freshman @HadleyThul put in 21 pts on the way to a win in her varsity debut for Alexandria. Hadley is a 6'1 wing with a great feel for the game and impressive offensive skills. She will play for @NorthTartan this AAU season.
