Cam Schlittler's Mechanics ⚙️
Schlittler went from 88-90 mph in college to 101 mph. At full speed, you barely notice a difference, but once slowed down, it's evident.
Here's what changed. ⬇️

Los aficionados de los Kansas City Royals tenían 30 segundos para conseguir juntar el pan con la salchicha y si lo lograban, todo el estadio ganaba hot dogs gratis. 🌭
Super proud of this kid battling through his first year of pro ball! Thank you to Midland and the @RockHounds for welcoming Jamie and treating him like family. Now onto Vegas! Let’s go @AviatorsLV 🙌
Payton Manca barely pitched for @FSUBaseball this spring. Then he went to the Cape and posted a 1.48 ERA in 24 1/3 innings with the @BrewsterCaps.
The 6-foot-6 lefty looks the part of a big leaguer – and is one to watch in 2027.

A worthwhile read on the CCBL🔽 If interested, check out 3 of my posts on August 7 showing the roster turnover in the CCBL. The league is different. You need an updated roster every day to know the players. May be an issue for scouts but attendance remains strong. Your thoughts??
The final Top 10 qualified ERAs for the Cape Cod League season are headed by @UCLAbaseball right-hander Angel Cervantes, who dominated all summer.
Pitchers had to throw at least 24.1 IP this summer to qualify for the ERA crown.
Last night's ACC pitching on the Cape was highlighted by an @FSUBaseball pitching matchup, as Cade O'Leary outdueled Payton Manca over 5 innings.
O'Leary hasn't given up a run in three consecutive starts, while Manca has been one of the best starters on the Cape all summer.
I’m writing this post for a few reasons. One of them is because I know a lot of people don’t fully understand the ranking system. It’s not because they’re not smart it’s because if you’ve never been through the process, it’s hard to truly understand how it works.
Let me give you my perspective and how I talk to my son and my family about rankings.
Rankings can make you feel great, or they can make you feel terrible but only if you’re looking at them for the wrong reasons. I’ve always told Chase one thing: the only ranking that truly matters is the one in July 2027. Period.
If you’re a player and you don’t like where you’re ranked today, there’s only one person who can change it you.
Whether you’re ranked at the top, in the middle, or near the bottom, your response is what matters. Don’t waste your time complaining. Don’t hate on other players. Don’t make excuses. Just get to work.
Understand this: rankings are just a snapshot. They are not your destination. Your work ethic, your mindset, your discipline, and your consistency will always have the final say.
You’re on a road right now. The goal is to turn that road into a highway. Whether your dream is college baseball or professional baseball, get on that highway and drive like your future depends on it because it does.
At the end of the day, rankings don’t fulfill dreams. Work does.
God Bless. #justwork @PG_Scouting@prepbaseball
The Cape Cod League revealed their All Star Teams for next weekend.
13 of the 56 players selected are from the ACC while 5 ex-ACC guys were also chosen.
Last night's top pitching performances on the Cape are highlighted by Georgia Tech's Dimitri Angelakos, Miami's Jack Durso, and Louisville's Aaron England, who each tossed at least three scoreless innings.
#Noles win a four-hour midweek marathon
- Two opposite field bombs for Bailey
- Sheffield drives in four, three RBI for Paulino
- Abraham and Manca combine for 4.1 scoreless, 9 Ks

PITCHING PRIMER
@FSUBaseball head coach Link Jarrett laid out the weekend rotation, Tuesday role and pitching staff realities heading into opening day.
I love this pitching staff. When healthy, Bryson Moore has proven himself and Payton Manca is a big breakout candidate.
And bullpen has three proven bullpen aces in Stokes, Purcell, and Nard. Excited for the Noles.
