One of the worst prime ministers in British history.
Promised change but delivered yet more managed decline.
Promised competence but ran our economy into the ground.
Promised higher standards in public life but presided over a string of scandals that began with himself pilfering the pockets of Lord Alli.
Promised to work for the national interest while trying to sell off our national territory, refusing to invest in our national defence, alienating our closest allies, and incentivising our enemies.
Promised to be “on the side of British workers” while throwing them under the bus through the India trade deal, mass immigration, tax hikes for farmers, & making it far more expensive to actually hire British workers in this country.
Promised to deliver “fairness” while imposing an extreme policy of broken borders while forcing the British people to pay billions for it, allowing private firms like Serco to outbid the British people and favour illegal migrants in our own housing market, mainstreaming two-tier injustice, and shrugging his shoulders as every 1 young Brit who gets a job is undercut by 27 young foreigners getting a job in our own labour market.
Promised to be “tolerant” while being uniquely intolerant of people who merely hold different beliefs, clamping down on free speech at every opportunity, throwing people into jail for what they write on social media, and curbing our ability to debate Islam.
Promised to “work for the British people” while never grasping why the people wanted a national inquiry into the mass r*pe and sexual abuse of hundreds of thousands of their own children — and calling them “far right” for wanting truth and justice.
And all done with the tone of a sanctimonious, pompous head teacher, scolding the British people for problems his own party helped create, then made worse, and then called “progress”.
Good-bye Keir Starmer.
And good riddance!!
Full piece below.
David Attenborough narrates as Keir Starmer delivers his resignation speech.
An important documentary.

Enjoy.
.@AndyBurnhamGM Keir Starmer gave huge service to the country?
He accepted more than £100,000 in gifts from a donor simultaneously given a Downing Street pass. He filmed a stay home pandemic message from a borrowed £18 million penthouse dressed to look like his own house. He removed winter fuel payments from 10 million pensioners without a manifesto commitment and reversed it a year later. He told Parliament full due process was followed on Mandelson while two aides resigned within 48 hours saying otherwise. He branded ordinary British people concerned about immigration as far right. He oversaw two-tier policing in which people were jailed for social media posts within days of the 2024 riots while other disorder was handled with conspicuous restraint. He legislated to silence online dissent while boosting the BBC algorithmically, the same BBC being sued for ten billion dollars for fabricating a world leader's words. His net approval collapsed to minus 66, the worst since records began. That is the service you are thanking him for.
Orderly and responsible transition?
Britain is about to install its sixth Prime Minister in seven years without a single vote from the general public. You yourself won 54.8 percent of the vote in one constituency on a message that amounted to get Starmer out. That is the mandate on which you now propose to lead a country of 67 million people. You described this as a positive process of renewal. The public will note that renewal, in this context, means one professional politician replacing another without anyone being asked.
Economic growth, cost of living, public services, housing, opportunities for the next generation?
You spent six years as Mayor of Greater Manchester spending £722,685 on migrant welfare programmes while one in 61 people in Manchester is homeless. You backed a policy that would have given migrants immediate access to the welfare state and dropped it the moment you needed Makerfield's votes. You want to equalise capital gains tax with income tax rates and restore the 50p top rate, policies that every serious economic analysis warns will reduce investment and growth at a moment when the tax burden is already at its highest since 1945. These are the solutions you are bringing to the issues that matter most.
Political change should never distract from the responsibility to improve people's lives?
Belfast burned while this government legislated for faster removal of social media posts about it. The asylum appeals backlog hit 87,450, roughly the population of Carlisle, while the removal rate sat at 4 percent. A generation of young British workers was priced out of entry-level jobs by cheaper imported labour while the government called the falling net migration figure progress. The country you propose to improve has been left more fractured, more indebted, more surveilled and more divided than at any point in recent memory, not by accident but by a government that chose to manage dissent rather than address its causes.
The Labour movement has always been at its strongest when it looks forward with confidence and purpose?
The country will be looking forward too. At the record you are about to inherit, the positions you have quietly buried, and the policies you will quietly resurrect once Makerfield is a distant memory. Confidence and purpose are easy to project from a press statement. They are considerably harder to sustain when the HMRC payroll data, the asylum statistics, the Belfast footage, the two-tier prosecution record and the gift register are all still on the public record.
The transition has begun. So has the scrutiny.
"The asylum appeals backlog hit 87,450, roughly the population of Carlisle, while the removal rate sat at 4 percent."
@WorldCupHQ_@vonderleyen If he worked a bit less for the EU/WEF and more for the UK he may have stood a chance. At least now he can retire to Davos, which he prefers to the mess of his making that he's leaving behind.

THE MILIBAND BROTHERS: CRIME SYNDICATE
THE TIMELINE THAT NOW DEMANDS ANSWERS**
And why today’s asbestos revelation makes Miliband’s silence untenable...
For more than a year, the government has insisted that the UK–China “clean energy partnership” is nothing unusual — just routine cooperation, nothing to see here.
But the timeline tells a very different story, and today’s news about asbestos found IN Chinese‑manufactured wind turbines turns this from a policy debate into a public‑safety and national‑security issue.
Here is the sequence of events that now requires full transparency.
🔹 March 2025 — Ed Miliband signs a Memorandum of Understanding with China
He travels to Beijing and signs a wide‑ranging MoU covering:
- Offshore wind
- Electricity grids
- Battery storage
- Carbon capture
- Hydrogen
These are not minor areas. These are **critical national‑infrastructure sectors**.
🔹 March 2025 – February 2026 — The MoU is kept out of public view**
For almost a year, the agreement is not published, not debated in Parliament, and not disclosed to the public.
No press release.
No ministerial statement.
No scrutiny.
🔹 27 February 2026 — The MoU is quietly released.
No announcement. No explanation.
It simply appears on a government website.
The timing and the silence raise immediate questions.
🔹 Spring 2026 — Miliband repeatedly refuses to release the full details.
Across multiple interviews, he:
- Dodges direct questions
- Repeats scripted lines about “normal cooperation”
- Avoids explaining what China gains
- Avoids explaining what UK infrastructure China may influence
- Refuses to publish the full text or annexes
This is not transparency
This is avoidance
🔹 June 2026 — RUSI warns of deepening UK dependence on Chinese supply chains
A respected defence think tank warns that the UK’s offshore‑wind expansion risks:
- Strategic dependence
- Supply‑chain vulnerability
- Loss of control over critical components
Miliband does not address these warnings directly.
🔹 TODAY —
Asbestos found in Chinese‑manufactured wind turbines
This is the moment everything changes.
Asbestos is banned in the UK.
It is a known carcinogen
Its presence in imported turbine components is a **major regulatory failure**.
This is no longer a theoretical risk.
This is a **real‑world safety breach** involving the very sector Miliband has tied to deeper cooperation with China.
THE QUESTIONS ED MILIBAND MUST NOW ANSWER:
1. Why did you refuse to release the full China MoU for so long?
A year‑long delay followed by a quiet publication is not normal practice for a major international agreement.
2. Does the MoU expand Chinese involvement in UK offshore wind projects?
The public deserves clarity on whether Chinese firms gain access to UK tenders, supply chains, or grid‑related work.
3. Were you aware of asbestos risks in imported turbine components?
If yes, why was the public not informed?
If no, why were safety checks inadequate?
4. What due‑diligence processes exist for foreign‑manufactured renewable‑energy components?
Today’s revelation suggests they are either weak or non‑existent.
5. Will you now publish the full MoU, including annexes, technical notes, and implementation plans?
Partial transparency is not transparency.
6. How will the government ensure that UK infrastructure is not compromised by unsafe or non‑compliant imports?
This is a matter of public health and national security.
7. Why should the public trust your assurances when the supply chain has already failed at the most basic safety level?
The asbestos discovery undermines every claim of “routine cooperation” and “nothing to worry about.”
**WHY THIS MATTERS**
This is not about geopolitics.
This is not about party politics.
This is about:
- Public safety
- Regulatory integrity
- National infrastructure
- Transparency in government
When a minister signs an agreement with a foreign power covering critical infrastructure, the public has the right to know **exactly** what was agreed — especially when components from that same country are now found to contain banned carcinogenic materials.
The refusal to release the MoU is no longer a procedural issue.
It is now a **public‑interest emergency**

IT IS TIME PARLIAMENT, AND THE POLICE TOOK AN INTEREST IN THE CHINESE DEAL
Shabana Mahmood has found her voice. This is always illuminating.
The Performance
You are horrified by Edinburgh. You have found time to tweet. You have identified the motive. Anti Muslim hatred. You have spoken. The Justice Secretary has pronounced.
The Silence
250,000 girls. Decades of rape. An inquiry report sitting on desks. And you? Nothing. Not horrified. Not grateful. Not speaking. The Pakistani Muslim grooming gangs do not rate a tweet. The working class white girls do not rate your horror.
The Hypocrisy
You are Justice Secretary for the rapists communities, not the victims. You police anti Muslim hatred with zeal. You police the rape of white children with silence. This is not who we are. Who are we, Shabana? A nation that tolerates rape if the rapists share your heritage?
The Truth
You are not horrified by violence. You are horrified by attention. The Edinburgh attacker exposed your double standard. The grooming gangs exposed your complicity. You tweet about one because it serves you. You ignore the other because it indicts you.
You are not Justice Secretary. You are the communitys representative in government. The girls have no representative. They have you.

No I will absolutely not shut up about being a survivor of the grooming gangs around the UK.
We aren’t just a statistic, we are real girls/women and we now live with so much trauma because of it.
Solicitor David Greenwood presented a dossier suggesting that over 72,000 children may have been at risk of exploitation across the Bradford District between 1996 and 2025.
Let that sink in.
https://t.co/WL5KuubYUi
Im on @GMB at 7.40am tomorrow along with my solicitor, so we can put more pressure on getting child sexual abusers and rapists exempt from the 2026 sentencing act that is pushing for dangerous people to be released a fraction into their sentences.
I will keep the pressure up until those in power see sense and stop these people being released because otherwise we could have 100's more dangerous child rapists back on our streets for christmas.
@Keir_Starmer He may have mental health issues, and speculating about the case could prejudice the proceedings.
Using a tragedy like this to push your political beliefs shows exactly who you are.
