For five consecutive days, Israeli settler terrorists are surrounding the home of an American citizen in the Palestinian village of Qusra in the occupied West Bank, leaving the family trapped inside their own home.

Yes, the owner of this house is an American citizen.

For five days, his family has been trapped inside under threat, yet I have not seen a single public condemnation from the U.S. Embassy in Israel or from U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee demanding that Israeli authorities protect this American citizen and hold those responsible accountable.

Israeli leaders have demonstrated remarkable consistency from 1948 to the present. The solution to the problem that is the Palestinians, their existence in Palestine, is to deny them food and water to force them into exile.

Moshe Feiglin was the most recent Israeli politician to say the solution to the problem that there are Palestinians in Gaza is to deny them water.

BREAKING: Israeli police have informed Israeli Jewish activists in the Christian village of Taybeh that they are no longer allowed to enter, following the Israeli army's decision to declare the area a closed military zone.

The isolation of Taybeh—the last entirely Christian village in the occupied West Bank—has begun. Foreign activists, international observers, and journalists are now barred from entering the village while Israeli settler attacks continue.

Instead of stopping the settler terrorism, Israel is shutting out the people documenting it.

🏘️ Enquanto milhares de famílias não conseguem pagar uma casa, o imobiliário continua a ser um dos principais destinos do investimento estrangeiro em Portugal.

Em 2025, 3,91 mil milhões de euros de Investimento Directo Estrangeiro foram canalizados para o imobiliário, representando 45,9% de todo o IDE.

Estes números confirmam uma realidade: a habitação é tratada como um activo financeiro e um negócio altamente lucrativo, alimentando a especulação e pressionando os preços para níveis incomportáveis.

Em vez de travar a especulação, PSD/CDS, Chega, IL e PS insistem em políticas que favorecem os grandes interesses imobiliários, a banca, a grande propriedade e os fundos de investimento. O resultado está à vista: aumento das rendas, casas mais caras e milhares de famílias sem resposta.

A habitação é um direito, não um negócio. É preciso enfrentar a especulação imobiliária, controlar os preços, aumentar a oferta pública de habitação e garantir casas a custos que os trabalhadores e as famílias possam suportar.

Os exames nacionais foram notícia em 1979 devido ao roubo de um caixote com exames. 47 anos depois voltam a ser notícia devido ao inacreditável ímpeto reformador do Governo PSD/ CDS.

O caos nos exames nacionais não surgiu por acaso.

É o resultado de opções políticas. O desmantelamento do Ministério da Educação, a dispensa de centenas de trabalhadores com experiência, o recurso ao outsourcing e a perda de capacidade de resposta do Estado têm hoje consequências bem visíveis.

Como o PCP denunciou há um ano, o Governo impôs uma alteração radical sem ouvir as escolas, a comunidade educativa e os trabalhadores, nem garantir as condições para a sua aplicação.

O resultado está à vista: estudantes, famílias e professores confrontados com falhas, atrasos e incertezas.

Estas são as consequências do neoliberalismo, do Estado mínimo e da opção por um Estado sem instrumentos para intervir, refém dos interesses privados.

É esta a visão do Governo PSD/CDS.
