@Pnbuker Thanks for doing this. It brings me back to my late grandpa Dewey Robbins who served in the Army in WW1 and the Navy in WW2 and my late dad Bill Basnight, who also fought in the Normandy Beach invasion in WW2. Love those guys.
A salute for two old soldiers who are gone: my late grandpa Paul D. Buker who fought in WWI, and my late father in law Tony Brugato who was part of the D-Day offensive in WWII.
Thanks for the birthday wishes. ... I would consider my beheading the worst move of Peter Bhatia's career except for the fact my legal people said only an Act of God kept me employed there for almost 35 years
I'm waiting for the Sarah Huckabee Sanders statement claiming the Timbers were just celebrating last night's game going to penalties. "No, I think we were excited" ??
Thanks, Noel! As you know, I've been living under The Oregonian's witness protection plan since 2012 ... Ken Goe, who must be at least 70 by now, is still active with the paper
This football season, I'm very late on my tweet to remember and honor two great writers I grew reading...when journalistic skill was at its peak...@KenGoe and @Pnbuker . I miss your articles more and more every year that goes by. Hope all is well with you both and thank you.
Our @POTUS is intentionally putting American media members in actual DANGER to deflect attention from his own wrongdoings.
He has power and sway, he knows it, and he’s using that influence recklessly to threaten the free press.
This is a real thing that’s happening in 2018.
Dennis Peck sent me on that suicide mission. It was a harsh way to trim the payroll. AP writer Bob Baum's classic comment when Trent said he'd kick my ass on Media Day, "is he joking?'' ,,, nope https://t.co/FighszBQnk
@503Beaver@nickdaschel@Pnbuker It's been complete poo since @pnbuker "retired." I hope you can revive some decent writing and not succumb to the antics of the editors at Advance Publications.
We can never truly repay the debt we owe our fallen heroes. But we can remember them, honor their sacrifice, and affirm in our own lives those enduring ideals of justice, equality, and opportunity for which generations of Americans have given that last full measure of devotion.
Nope. Still in witness protection. Has someone filched my "act of god'' schtick? Was it Lindsay Schnell or (gasp) Cliff Kirkpatrick? https://t.co/DRCCbIZqGJ
