@benedickewan@GullableBread@princesslaash I advocate everyday for disabled and less than individuals but I’m not going to feel sorry for Americans who splurge on things like alcohol, wigs, drugs, partying but can’t figure out how to make more money to pay rent.
@benedickewan@GullableBread@princesslaash Im not talking about disabled people. Im talking about it people like myself who are actually very capable of making changes in their lives to improve the quality of it but would rather point fingers
@benedickewan@GullableBread@princesslaash Sooner rather than later these roles will be taken over by technology and AI. Eventually, it’ll be a requirement to grow your skill set. It’s the unfortunate reality. Luckily, we live in a first world country where there is an abundance of opportunities to increase income.
@GullableBread@benedickewan@princesslaash Im a breathing example that it is possible. That’s why all this back and forth is a waste of time for me. It’s either you want change in your life or you don’t. If you really do, you won’t sit around for someone else to make the changes for you if you’re capable.
@GullableBread@benedickewan@princesslaash We could absolutely use more housing - affordable or market, doesn’t matter. It still does not take away from the fact that people need to be more accountable for their lives. If you want better; create better for yourself. Seek out opportunities, and don’t stop learning
@GullableBread@benedickewan@princesslaash My initial statement still remains. There is so much opportunities and solutions out there, people just have to want to find it. But to say they don’t exist in a country such as the one we live in is pure BS.
@thatsme_ne@princesslaash If you don’t want to increase you skill set to get paid more than that’s on you love. Honestly I’m sick of Americans complaining about wages when you have options at opportunities. We aren’t living in a third world country. Stop making excuses
@QUEENBOSSLOVE@thatsme_ne@princesslaash I said nothing about asking the govt for assistance. I said take the issues to your local govt and community so you can request and demand change
@shivers_raymond@princesslaash I didn’t say to go to government for handouts. I’m saying take the issue to local government and get involved with your local community to fight for the things you’re unhappy about.
@thatsme_ne@princesslaash I’m not suggesting anyone asks for handouts from the government I said take the issue to the local government and get involved in your community if you want changes. And yeah, I bet it’s kind of hard to find opportunities when you aren’t looking for them.
