Hey @JOCampbellMP 🙋 We must go further and faster with our relationship with Europe.
Collaboration, alignment, and exchange.
Otherwise, we risk extending the cost-of-living crisis and enabling Farage in 2029. #HeyMP@BestForBritain https://t.co/hWRSVRxxy5
@SayeedaWarsi Sayeeda you are always one of the most reasonable voice in politics. Your always outspoken and on the right side of major issues, you may be a conservative, but no one is perfect 😉
We need more voices like yours right now 👍
Everyday before we start parliamentary business in the Commons and Lords we say a prayer and praise God - we say our parliamentary version of Allah hu Akbars at the heart of democracy - a process Robert Jenrick is a part of.
This language from Jenrick is more of his usual nasty divisive rhetoric - he is such a tool 🤦🏽♀️ ( ps not the kind the PMs father used to make!)
If this checks out, you have a prima facie cause to use the National Security Act 2023 against anyone disseminating this. Let's show no fear in the face of this - only determination to resist this alliance of home grown fascists and Russian criminals
@JohnEJF733 @JohnJCrace Yes he is. He was the driving force behind Brexit. When we were in the EU there were about 250 a year comng acoss in boats because we had a returns agreement. Now it's 40,000 a year.
Shameful. The idea that the thugs behind this call themselves ‘patriots’ is risible. What they did last night in a town understandably consumed by grief was odious
@ShippersUnbound This is putting the cart before the horse. What happened to the period of serious reflection to fathom out what went so disasterously wrong? Like the vilification of younger voters and abandonment of the centre right, for starters?
@FirehorseP@ShippersUnbound You speak for the majority, I'm sure. It's going to take a while for the media to latch onto the new normal. The Tories will be an irrelevance for at least the next five years and, hopefully, for much longer than that.
@ItsJamesPowers@GavinBarwell@danny__kruger I don't get this argument. Under the Tories, small boat crossings went from a few hundred a year to 40,000. Legal immigration went from 250,000 a year to 1.2 million in the last two years. It used to be from Europe but now it's from Nigeria, Pakistan, India and Asia. Tories gone.
@DrHeatherParry @JohnJCrace@jessicaelgot Don't forget the £billions sent to the largely foreign owners of our privatised companies. £70+ billion gone abroad to the foreign owners of the water companies and we STILL have a Victorian infrastructure. A national scandal.
