So I hit a bullseye 44% of the time.

However I've gotten better so hopefully my bullseye ratio is about 60-80% now.

I picked up my AR at the same Firearms Academy I earned my LTC at. Got my instructor/scorer to sign my near perfect target and I filled in the scoring grid. Its not hard to buy a gun, but you can’t buy the respect that comes from being an expert marksman.

I found a new aiming technique with iron sights I call, "Marine Aiming." My weapon proficiency/skill is now well beyond what I previously thought humanly possible for me. I can tell that my increased precision using the new technique has improved my scope&reflex accuracy as well.

Finished my LTC course. Got a perfect score on the written test and scored the highest on the proficiency test, with 247 out of 250 points. My instructor was in disbelief that I proved myself as an expert sharpshooter. I felt coldly mechanical compared to the jumpy newbs.

I purchased an ArmaLite. The Left will never get while most people have no need to use a tactical weapon in a combat situation, some of us even in the civilian world, will not survive without it. Most folks dont have a good reason for someone else to kill them, but some of us do.
