We had a bee-sy day at our school. A swarm of honeybees visited and collected on a branch by our school parking lot entrance. A beekeeper was coming to smoke the swarm and use the queen to lure the 5000 bees to a hive. Before that could be done the swarm moved to a nearby park.
Our students went to the Forest of Reading Conference. The student reported a 9/10 experience! Many thanks to all for making this a memorable experience.
Our feedback from our guests was “1000 x Awesome!“
“Love that the school does this” and “it was wonderful to see young people so knowledgeable and immersed in their culture and music. The presenter was awesome”! So positive!
Our Indigenous Evening was great!
Our quilt was made from 6x6 squares highlighting a quote from a text written and illustrated by Indigenous peoples. Notice the heart at the centre. The Title of this was Coming Together Hand in Hand.
