@LFCLaurie Let's say Nigeria qualified instead of Tunisia. In a group like this, it would've been hard to even win third place. Japan, Netherlands and Sweden are all pretty damn good.
@wondersgroupcl@thenanaaba Absolutely agree with you. There's no doubt that Portugal is a solid team with or without Ronaldo but there's no way the federation will allow a team with him in to be knocked out anytime soon. Frustrating!
After looking at this again and again, I think its a penalty, I did not see it in real time.
The lesson here is that smaller footballing nations should learn how to go crazy and put pressure on the refs to check VAR.
Jude or Harry Kane ain't going let this slide, Tuchel is going to go crazy on the bench for it to be checked. I cannot believe Ghana were robbed, not even a check at least.
@Lea_EFC Definitely a penalty. The Ghanaian spirit is so strong and yet so defeated when it comes to their rights that they didn't bother protesting. If the referrer and VAR keeps dismissing African teams this way, I might stop watching the rest of the WC.
I wish I could have seen the England Ghana game with neutral commentary instead of that utter BBC shit.
I suspect the entire rest of the world is outraged by Konsa's flying kick to the knees not being given and Pickford not being red carded.
The Norwegian Viking Row is objectively cool.
But this type of mass, coordinated fan activity depends on having lots of fans who could get visas and afford exorbitant tickets.
Countries like Senegal have fan culture that’s just as good. But we don’t get to see it
@pamelamodella Norway is pretty damn good and the tall players is their biggest advantage. Having said that, Senegal played a whole lot better than many teams. Just a very clumsy line-up bit them in the ass.
