Together with BJP Wokha District President Shri Rhanbemo Odyuo, Deputy Chairperson of Wokha Town Council Smti Nzano P. Kikon, BJP councillors, and former BJP candidate Shri Renbonthug Ezung, participated in the inauguration ceremony of the newly established BJP Unit Office in Wokha today. The event was graced by Catechist Shri Limhathung who also dedicated the office.

This office will serve as a hub for coordination, outreach, and service. Wokha has always played a vital role in shaping the political narrative of the state, and with this new office, we aim to listen better, act faster, and serve more effectively.

Sharing some more glimpses from my visit to AFS Adampur.

Chaired the Wokha DPDB meeting today in the presence of MLA Shri Achumbemo Kikon, @DC_Wokha Shri Vineet Kumar (IAS), SP Wokha Shri Rhovisie Nyuwi (IPS), DPO Shri Orenpomo, among others. It was a productive session where we reviewed key development initiatives and discussed plans to further strengthen the district’s growth journey.

Before the meeting, I had the privilege of felicitating meritorious students from Wokha who excelled in the HSLC exams 2025 conducted by @nbsenagaland. Their achievements reflect the dedication of our young minds and the strong support from their families and educators. Wishing them continued success as they shape a brighter future for themselves and our state.

Moving forward, DPDB Wokha meetings will be convened either on the 1st or 3rd Saturday of every month—bringing consistency to our efforts in planning and execution. Additionally, I will be conducting surprise visits during office hours in Wokha, similar to those undertaken at the Secretariat in Kohima. These interactions aim to strengthen accountability and service delivery across departments.

Let us keep working together to build a more responsive and progressive administration for the people of Wokha.
