Abhijeet Dipke's father -Bhagwanrao Dipke is a reserved category Retired Junior engineer in a Gov department, was earning ₹60-65k per month.

He sent his son to USA for studies, an expense far beyond his salary and property, impossible for anyone in this income range.

A particular state started awarding generous marks to its students and that college saw a disproportionate share of students coming from that state.

The college has moved to entrance test.
