@ima_1966@Nagoshi_T Set the bar so high, not even Nintendo has the courage to try and make a better game. He gave us the greatest gift, but also the worst curse, which only he can break by returning to his racing game roots.
@ima_1966 I still remember the day I picked it up (at launch) because I was surprised at the low price in Australia ($59.95). What a steal! I must have played 1000 hours getting all the trophies for all the racers. I’m curious if you can recall why the team named it X instead of 64?
@velanstudios Lots of people are gonna be saying you should be Star Fox stewards after this and yeah sure, i could go for that! But… all I can think of after playing Sector X and Solar is, please give F-Zero X or Wave Race 64 the same treatment first.
@hor11 I keep on believing that no Aleste Branch news is good news (better than Ubusuna news...), but if it's never going to come out, can you at least work on a Parodius collection or something.
@velanstudios You've obviously put in a lot of work but please don't trip at the finish line! A lot of little things make SF64 perfect. Option for reticule behind ship, faster lasers, reflecting lasers on barrel rolls, left/right movement shouldn't drift up, timing on warp entry!
I was wondering why the Meteo Crusher boss wasn't hitting as hard as it did on the N64.
Then it dawned on me: timing.
Little things like the timing of the end of his line coinciding with the attack starting makes a world of difference.
Food for thought #StarFox
@reachman Fighting games became so niche, that they started to come with entire other games attached, just to sell the fighting game part. Yours is the right approach - reinvent fighting games as a whole.
@reachman The new VF looks great, and it’s truly wonderful that, as I had hoped, your team really understands the significance of this game - it’s the heart of Sega! Now, the rebirth is almost complete - you just need to release it on a brand new Sega console ;)
