Most of the mourning I feel when being left by people isn’t that the person was a huge loss. The loss is of the person I thought they were, and I mourn the way things could have been if they’d been the person I thought.
I’m struggling with lack of closure from an incident in February when a guy who forced his way into my life irreparably cut off ties with people I cared about and then continued to abuse me for months after that until I moved. I want to fix things and I can’t. It hurts my brain.
You ever get so thoroughly used and abused by people you cared about for like a year and a half that you’re too afraid to show any vulnerability to anyone new?
Nobody will remember:
- your salary
- how “busy” you were
- how many hours you worked
People will remember:
- how you fumbled me
- that one time you fumbled a bad bitch
- how you fumbled a beautiful beautiful girl like what is wrong with you
i’m v pro-abortion. and i don’t need a woman to be a rape victim or to be molested to empathise with her choice. it can be as simple as, “i don’t want it”. that’s valid, that’s fine, do it. i support you.
If you’re a “senior Democrat” that feels this way, you should absolutely retire and make space for true leadership that refuses to resign themselves to fascism.
This kind of leadership is functionally useless to the American people. Retire.
